Get dropped off outside the apartments which are gated and locked. Travel arrangements say can collect keys from reception if between certain times and outside those times collect keys from different addresses. Despite being within the time frame for "collect from reception there is in fact no reception. No directions to where to collect the keys and no-one to ask. Eventually managed to find out where which involved a trek up and down the huge hill the apartments are situated on. Had to leave a 100 euro deposit for keys - would have taken pounds and would have been helpful to have been to this beforehand so I wouldn't be left with a 100 euros I can't spend until by next holiday. Entrance hall undergoing refurbishment so a building site. Apartment clean but towels and bedding not changed any point during stay. No kettle and told by management co they don't provide kettles as there is a microwave. Toaster kept blowing fuse and was told they don't supply toaster and must have been left be previous occupants. Microwave also not working. After much hassle new microwave, toaster and kettle delivered. One plug socket hanging from wall and another not working. Lock on door to kitchen broken so would rattle in the wind. Nice large balcony with good view. Swimming pool but at rear of apartments so quite shady with no seats or sunbeds to sit out if you wanted to. Also only provided with one key so could not go out separately. All in all I would not recommend this apartments to anyone. Collapse
Not bad if a couple of things are dealt with it would be excellent !

firstly we read the reviews on these apartments and decided to turn up with an open mind. I do however like to leave a frank and honest review and everything below said we would stay here again. They are not up a massive hill and no where near the top of cardiac hill as stated in some reviews. yes they are up a bit of a hill but unless your mobility is really poor then it really shouldnt be an issue..neither of us are classed as fit and managed easily. The easiest way was straight up the side of the hotel Nereo. There are 2 ways into the gated apartments one behind the piccasso on a lower level but had about 15 steps and one around the bend ( which is a bit steeper) but has no steps. We knew where to pick the keys up and as we arrived late at night arranged the transfer to drop us off at the Buenavista Apartments. we paid £100 deposit and then caught a taxi to our apartment at a cost of 6 euros. we walked back to the beunavista when we left as its all down hill and took around 17minutes and were not fast walkers. On arrival at our apartment the smell of stale cigarette smoke was terrible but after leaving the windows and doors open for a while it soon went. On the surface all looked clean and tidy though there was a smell of urine in the bathroom so we did go out and buy some toilet cleaner..but kitchen was clean new microwave and fridgefreezer. There was limited equipment in the kitchen ...NO kettle, toaster, bread board or knife. No washing up bowl and the plug didnt fit the sink so we had to be a bit inventive. theres no oven so only stove top pans with 2 ring hob, there was no jugs or bowls to cook things in microwave though there was enough plates cereal bowls and glasses. 6 cups and saucers but no mugs. The apartment had 2 bedrooms both with 2 single beds, matresses themselves were quite comfortable but one bed had a broken slat and all squeeked when you move on them so no hanky panky and no pivacy as neither bedroom door closed as the beds were too long and obstructed the door ways. There was lots of coat hangers in both wardrobes. The pool area has no sun beds but part of it is in the sun all day, and it always seemed clean. There were some major cracks in some of the walls but a few hundred euros spent on these apartments and they could be a lot nicer The towels were a bit thin but unless you stay in a luxury place they are mostly the same, bedding was clean lots of blankets for the colder night and there was 2 heaters in the utility room. There was a safe in one bedroom but we never used it. You need to rent a control for the TV as its on a satelite box but ours was tuned to uk BBC1 so never bothered we just watched that. The number 11 bus runs from out the front and i think goes to the bus station via avenida Mediteraneo. Out the front of the apartment turn left and there is a huge supermarket about 4/500 yards away so close and easy for groceries. The apartment seemed to be pretty secure the utility room has bars at the window so door can be left open all time the balconies are not ajoined so again we felt quite safe leaving the patio door and bedroom door open at night. The same with the window in the other bedroom. There was lots of boiling hot water and the shower was fab. Overall this was a late booking and very cheap we paid around £500 all in for flights Bags and transfers ( at least we would have if Monarch and the French hadnt messed us about. So you really do get what you pay for and we would go back if it was as cheap. They were doing work in the foyer knocking out the old reception desk and re-tiling the walls so was a bit noisy at times which no one told us about but we booked with A1travel so cant complain about it to them and they were almost finished when we left so should be fine now. On arrival with my family at 02:30 am inc children of 5 years old a member in a wheel chair we quickly realised we were in a bad situation as there was no way to get into the apartment complex as all gates were locked there was no notice board to let late arrivals know who to contact so basically we were on the streets we eventually luckily spoke to a person who had been out and was returning from a night out to the las Torres who told us we needed to get a taxi across town to get keys unbelievable. Eventually in app to find rooms were all fine and clean happy with that. The only person we saw whom we presumed was the caretaker etc of the apartments was very abrupt to say that our disabled friend whom hired a mobility scooter could not charge the battery in the apartments as it would cost electricity To Finnish up we had to leave our apartments at 10:00am Sunday morning but we were not getting picked up until 19:50pm and were basically on the streets with our suitcases. You get what you pay for don't expect much Collapse
