The hotel is very old and poor. Rooms are poorly furnished, walls between rooms very thin, so rooms were noisy and not very clean. The pool area hasn’t been renovaten probably since the first opening of the hotel. All the interior of the hotel looked like an old hospital. The only good thing was the food that was tasty and also different every day. Also on one side there was an english pub very noisy at night, until the morning some could hear shouts. In conclusion, the worst 4 star hotel I have ever stayed, and I’m not going to go back again. They should renovate it or close it. Collapse

I stayed in this hotel with my parents and certainly would not call it a four star hotel - I think giving it a three star rating here is being a bit generous. However, the pros were that it was clean and in a great location. The breakfast was okay (except the bread and cakes seemed a bit hard and stale), though it was a bit crowded so more relaxed if you go earlier in the morning. The beds were comfortable but the pillows were flat and hard. Now, the cons. The whole place looks so dated and worn. Dated on its own isn't too bad but walking down the corridor there were rips in the carpet, holes in the walls, etc. The swimming pool didn't look great so we didn't go in. The brochure in the room requested that we don't dry towels on the balcony, to preserve the look of the hotel, which I found very ironic. The room itself had poor facilities. There was a plug socket in the bathroom but we could only find one in the bedroom, which was being used by the television, so I had to unplug the TV to charge my phone. The TV had three English language channels and they were all news channels - two with terrible reception so we couldn't get them most of the time anyway. Fine if you want to watch CNN talking about Donald Trump every day. There was a safe and a fridge but they both had to be paid for as extras so we didn't use them. The WiFi wasn't free - there is a machine in reception where you can get a code or something, it's 1 euro for an hour for one device, 5 euros for a day for one device, if I remember correctly. I maxed out the 3G on my phone instead. The air conditioning wasn't strong enough - it was at least 30 degrees outside every day and coming inside from the sweltering heat, the air con didn't provide much relief. The bathroom was nice and big but had no ventilation so was even hotter. Down at reception, we tried to book an excursion but it took us three tries as the first two people we saw both said they couldn't/wouldn't book it for us and to come back another time, both of these men trying to refer us to each other. Strangely, the woman we saw the third time went onto the computer and booked us our coach with no issues at all. For some reason, the description of this hotel on Trip Advisor says the rooms have been renovated, but they clearly haven't. There must be some great hotels in Fuengirola that have modern rooms, good facilities without extra costs, and so on. But this hotel isn't one of them. Collapse
Central location with sea views but some investment desperately needed. Quality of meals very good.

Stayed 4 nights on half-board basis. Whilst a good central location in front of the marina we were glad not to stay any longer due to noisey revellers throughout the night. Swimming pool was unattractive and in desperate need of a make over. My daughter suffered a skin infection from the pool. Booked the hotel as it advertised tennis court however we were advised the court surface was not safe, hence we could not use. Like the swimming pool the tennis court is in desperate need of refurbishment. No tennis was a disappointment for us. Why advertise a facility that is not available for guests? Evening entertainment was mostly in Spanish... to suit the Spanish guests. We felt we were not welcome to attend. On the plus side aircon was good, food was of better quality than expected at both breakfast and dinner. Staff were pleasant. Would I return? Very unikely. Collapse

location- 5 points from 5- in real centre of the town. lots of bars, restaurants and shops around there. super nice walking street near beach. beach in 200-300 m walking distance. if possible, take room in poolside- otherwise- u cant open windows at the evening- quiet noisy street(bars and restaurants). hotel and rooms- badly need update, but all depends- what are u looking in there! If u need place to sleep(beds are ok), take shower and feel good outside- then its quiet ok. Food- 4 points from 5. we liked, we had breakfast and dinner included to the price. We was happy, that they offer lot of fruits and salads. In a dinner- drinks are not included, but.... here a little vice- they offer in there just water with ice too- its drinkable! we ordered first two evening some water and wine.....but- little bottle of wine- cost 5 EUR- couple steps out- and u can find in shop wine- what cost 0,7 l bottle- 4-6 eur. And quality- is not at all bad!!!! poolside- location- very good! very nice view from there to harbour. Yes, again, they need to update it but it usable. and if u compare beach and pool- then some days we have preferred pool- once in there is not too much people! But again, can say- all depends, what u are looking for! If u wanna see good points in there- u can see them and a lot. If u start looking something not to good- then again- u can find it and a lot too! We liked stay in Las Palmers hotel. Collapse
