Our hotel was excellent. There were so many activities throughout the day, a bar that ran late enough to have snacks throughout the day and sunbeds and unbrellas to rent too. Only negative I had with the place was a lack of sunbeds, I think it was just too busy but there were still quite a few people bathing on the floor on towels. Costa Adeje is a family friendly place, we went as mates and went out in Plays de las Americas every night but I think it works for any type of holiday as there are activities right next door, or just a few euros in a taxi and your there :) Collapse

First I'll note the pros. Although the swimming pool area was great, this facility closes in May, for five weeks for refurbishment and it certainly needs it. For those going in May they will be allowed access to Laguna Park 1, which is a 15 minute walk away. There isn't enough umbrellas at number 2, so when the extra people descend on number 1, oh dear! The place was kept lovely and clean, and the staff were great especially the main two in the dining area. Now for the cons. Where do I start? There are two bars, the pool bar and the lounge bar. This lounge! bar was open until 11 pm, but for all inclusive customers the drinks stopped at 10.30 on the dot. Further drinks would have to be paid for. We expected drinks around the pool to be in small plastic cups, but in the evening bar? Oh yes!! The chairs in this bar were literally dropping to bits. When my wife pulled a chair out, the open joint on the back of it, closed, trapping her finger. We told the bar staff who then moved the chair to a different table! When we reported it to the older bald man on reception, his reply was, "These things happen"" Duh! Food? Repetitive is to be expected to a certain degree, but to out out for breakfast the sausage casserole which had been served the previous evening, come on! They only put out two raspberry tarts a day, so if it ain't there don't bother to ask. Where does the stale bread for breakfast come from? There was no sign of bread at any other meal. We made the mom of it but will never return. Collapse
Pleasantly surprised

After booking this hotel for a group of 8 for a 4 night birthday bash for my 40th in a bit of a rush where as I did not do a full search on hotel as I usually would we were all very apprehensive as some of the reviews are shocking on here but I must admit for a 2* hotel it was ok. Food was ok you don’t have plenty choice but the 8 of us found something to eat at all meal times Drink is just ur typical AI local branded spirits/beers etc but they were fine will mention bar man at disco bar was not best at serving at all and this was hotel not all that busy would hate to see when busy Rooms are basic but clean ok I seen a few small ants and yeah I seen one dreaded cockroach in the kitchen, will say needs air con in rooms as they can get a little stuffy Would not recommend hotel if u have mobility problems as it’s up a steep hill but most of adeji is on a hill Taxis a relatively cheap €4 from most places back to hotel unless u really do venture far Collapse

We have just returned from Laguna Park 2 (myself, friend and my daughter). We came here last August for 2 weeks and will be returning for New Year. We stayed in an apartment on high floor, which was lovely and clean, with all accessories/facilities we required. Had the most fantastic view and lovely big balcony with table and chairs. There is a free courtesy bus down to Fanabe beach each day, returning right up until 5:20 (last one from Fanabe). The apartments are on a steep hill but we walked down to San Eugenio/Costa Adeje at night and picked up a taxi on the way back for approx 4 Euros so not a problem at all. Staff and housekeepers really friendly and we had clean linen and towels every other day, couldn't faut it. For a small fee we hired a remote for the flat screen TV and a key for the safe (both refundable on departure). There is a lovely pool at the bottom of the complex and also a restaurant to eat. We have stayed in other apartments in Costa Adeje but we will continue to come back to Laguna Park 2 from now on. Please give it a chance, we did and haven't regretted it - thank you Laguna Park 2 and thank you Karina! Collapse

Hubby booked this at last minute and after reading some of the reviews we weren’t looking forward to it, but how wrong were they. First off all we wanted a sea view and kinda got one. Room was very big and cleaned every second day. Staff were very nice and friendly and nothing was a problem. The kettle was not working and they came with a new one. The place itself was spotless we never saw any litter or beasties. Pool was huge needed some paint work but nothing major, we were apartment only but had snacks at the pool which were good. All in all we had a great holiday would definitely go back. Oh and the big hill well that’s what taxis are for only €4.00 So a big Thank you to the Laguna Park 2 for your hospitality. Collapse

Stayed at this apartment complex last June between moving apartments and being without accommodation. The complex is up a big hill so please bear in mind if booking or you have mobility issues. The rooms were clean and we didn't see any cockroaches during our short stay. We had a self catering one bed apartment which was basic but did have everything we needed. The price was a little high for the amount of facilities but the pool was very good. We didn't eat there so cannot give any comments on the food Collapse
