I have just stayed here for nine nights. I had a back room on the first floor, I could hear everyone coming In and going out, everyone talking in reception not to mention the tv. My window overlooked a concrete wall on three sides but you could see the outside sitting area if you stood at the window and looked down. My sister had a room opposite situated on the front. She had the same trouble with noise but had to contend with loud noise coming from the street too. She had a balcony....well, she could step outside and stand up sharing the space with the air con unit. The food was dismal and the drinks at dinner were certainly not free, maybe that reviewer had all inclusive? However drinks were very reasonably priced. The hotel is superbly situated for seeing the town. It is very clean with beds made and new towels every day. What makes this hotel special is most definitely the staff.....all of them go out of their way to make you comfortable. Have to mention the super young man working through the night who was so happy, friendly and helpful ALL THE TIME. Thank you everyone. Collapse

My wife and I stayed at the international for 2 nights. We were looking for a decent low price centrally located hotel. The hotel reception staff were very friendly and during our stay we did not have any problems. The rooms are basic but clean. The public areas are fine. The hotel has wfi in the bedrooms and reception area. We were told on checking in that the bedroom reception was a little hit and miss. We used the reception for wfi and it worked without any issues. Breakfast was mainly of the continental type, but they also had beans, bacon & sausages. There is also a secure room if you need to leave your baggage. Collapse

Booked the hotel on the back of good reviews and its excellent location. Brilliant position, polite friendly staff and clean. Our room was on the fifth floor and situated at the front with a sun terrace. This was a family room and more than adequate for our needs. We have a disabled son and the lift, though small, ensured we had acceptable access to our room. There are a few steps at the entrance to the hotel which with the help of my wife we easily overcame. I have included a few photographs and we would have no hesitation in returning here. The small cafes within a minutes walk were great and catered for our refreshment needs. A kettle would be nice. I would recommend 501 or 502 because of the sun terrace which was well equipped. Collapse

The Hotel is ideally situated near the Harbour and shopping area of the old town. Please remember that this is a two star hotel, for the price I found it to be perfectly adequate. the Staff were friendly and helpful. We had a smallish room with a third bed squashed in, however it was clean and the towels changed every day. The bathroom had a small bath with a shower over it. We had plenty of hot water and even though the shower was only gravity it was powerful. The restaurant was very flexible with its half board option allowing us to choose from either lunch or dinner. Breakfast was fairly simple cereal toast eggs Spanish bacon chipolata sausages and beans, with yoghurt available. The toaster was great not the usual conveyor belt type but toasted bread each side at once. Jams were also available. At dinner there was a different soup every night which we all thought was very good, rolls, a choice of a meat and fish dish, vegetables, chips or potatoes, plus salad. Lots of fresh fruit, yoghurt and ice cream. All the food was piping hot. the first night in room 505 was very quiet, it is at the back of the Hotel. Unfortunately the next night we had extremely noisy neighbours who kept us awake yelling, shouting and arguing until 5am. They were British travellers. At the reception desk there were notices stating that noisy guests would be removed by the Police, however this did not happen even though I pointed it out to the Staff member on Duty. He came up to the room with me and the guests pretended they were asleep when the door was answered. He did not mention the Police, but I said I would call them myself, the noise stopped immediately from that point. I complained to the Management next day and asked to be moved as the same party was staying the next night. The Manager assured me they would be given a warning. I am pleased to say the next night was again quiet. A great place to visit is Ron's Karaoke and Sports bar which is on the corner of the road where the white doves are. A really friendly welcome in this bar and the DJ Rachel is a gem and a brilliant singer. If you want to get into the old town centre where all the night life is you can walk past the hotel further up the street near the Bristol Park hotel there is a bridge, go down the steps and you can catch the number 10 bus for one euro 50 cents into town. Just got back from a week in this hotel what can i say, First of all the staff are very helpfull ,polite, and freindly, Our room was right overlooking the street in room 102....exactly what we had requested... it was basic but very clean and the bedding was spotless, The bathroom was typical with shower over bath and there was hot water all the time we were there, the shower was quite powerfull. The Beds were quite hard.... but the noise was horrendous at night the walls are very thin and you could easily hear the neighbors talking and people up and down street ....but we did ask for street view room!! Theres a small balcony. Ask at reception for password to their WIFI.....you can acsess wifi if you stand near the room door lol or downstairs in lounge....theres a small lounge with TV tables and chairs.and a lovely little courtyard which would be lovely in warmer months....there seems to be a large number of Stag/hen parties use the hotel for 2/3 nights one guy told us they had paid £85 each for 3 nights BB&EM with flights from Bristol....Amazing price!! They were all good at keeping noise down early morning returns from bars...... Now the downside...The food was horrendous The breakfast was as follows rice crispies.museli.and cheap cornflakes.spanish bacon little spanish sausages hard fried egg 2 choices of fresh fruit and yougurt there is a toaster which takes a while...one morning there was some beans but tgey were dried up Evening meal was one type of soup and roll usually mushroom which is tasty...there is one main course dont eat the burgers !!!!Raw in middle with frozen veg and crispie chips we just ate out at mealtimes......they really do need a NEW CHEF.....other than that we had a great week ...just book room only you can eat out cheap in benidorm Collapse
