Elevators broke, out of date

The hotel is going through a renovation so hopefully it improves. During our stay the elevators broke down leaving many people stranded on their floors. When we asked hotel staff where the stairs were located they were less than helpful.

Overall we had a good experience but I have to mention that the time has passed over this building! Friendly stuff, several trainee employees are trying to keep the standards up. There are some investment needed, that’s for sure

The hotel has a central location near the Central Railway station overlooking the River Main. The Old Town’s central Römerberg square is 15 minutes’ walk away. Across the river is the Museumsufer with many museums. We had booked a Club room but were upgraded to a Panorama Suite because of my Ambassador status. According to its name, it had beautiful panoramic views to the river and the skyline of the city center. As an Ambassador welcome gift there were an Easter chocolate tray and a bottle of red wine waiting. Because of my original booking, we had access to the Club Lounge. I am not sure if it is otherwise included in the Panorama Suites because the price difference is only 30 euros compared to Club rooms and it is not mentioned in the room description. The Club Lounge is located on the top 21st floor. The breakfast is served 06:30-10:30 (weekend 11:00), afternoon tea 14:00-16:00 and alcoholic drinks with snacks 18:00-20:00. At other times 06:30-22:00 there are coffee, tea and refreshments available. The service was very friendly everywhere in the hotel. Collapse

I also walked along the river to the older market area in Frankfurt and it was a quaint, cute little area. Great food choices close by. Collapse
A bit old-styled. Quiet, comfortable, clean, and professional.

I am a regular to this hotel due to attending a trade show in Frankfurt once a year consecutively for almost two decades. The location is good--a bit away, but not far at all--from the CBD, within walking distance to the central railway station, so it is quiet while still convenient. The room is not really big and the decor kinda old-styled, but very clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good, with continental dishes plus a little of Asian and some very nice pastries. The staffs are always pleasant and professional. Collapse
