Just returned home after a three day break in London using this hotel as a base. The staff were amazing and the hotel is superb. On arrival we were given a choice of room and keys to inspect each before we made a choice. On the second morning we realised we had forgotten our printed tickets for a show, on request, no problem what so ever, and an e mail address was given. By the time we had returned to our room and forwarded the mail, returned to reception, the tickets were already printed. Outstanding just like the rest of the stay. Thank you so much. Collapse

Stayed here for a week while on vacation in London. Loved it. Staff was always very friendly and helpful. We had a huge room with 2 queen beds and a nice size bathroom. Room was beautifully decorated and had a great view of the park across the street. Minibar with beer, wine and snacks was replenished daily (included in rate). We had breakfast everyday at Theo's adjacent to the hotel lobby. I had read reviews that the breakfast service could be slow but our experience was just the opposite. Our orders came out very quickly and the staff was awesome and always remembered which coffee drinks we preferred. Location was perfect - just around the corner from the Earls Court tube stop and a lot of good pubs and restaurants in close proximity. Would definitely stay here again. Collapse

I booked based on some good reviews and mixed with the fact the price was attractive i wanted to give it a go. I know London well and i knew that the location just off Earls Court Road would be ideal for many reasons. The title of the review says it all for me. I really liked the hotel and the stay but a few little things meant that there was a little room for improvement. Firstly, the good points. I had booked a superior double room. I was confused as to why these were supposedly smaller than the standard rooms but when booking it was clarified to me that the standard rooms were in the basement and some had a lack of light. I was happy with the room overall and as a supposed boutique hotel i was looking for those little differences which made people use the word boutique. When i saw the bright pink front door that was certainly the first surprise! Not all the doors are pink but it certainly helped me remember i was going into the correct room when coming home late and tired! Further features that made the room different were the high beds, the bright blue standalone wardrobe, the big print on one wall, a couple of books (about a famous London theatre, and Bob Dylan). On top of these a special mention about a few things which stood out. Firstly, the supplied smartphone is a good thing to give customers for local calls and data, but more on this below. The free mini bar is a great idea and very rare these days. Not full to the brim but water, soft drinks, a small bottle of wine and a can of beer. Very generous. Also i liked the fact that the tv sound could be relayed to the bathroom. With regards to the bathroom i liked the styling with the led lighting strip, and the shower is nice but it's one of those showers which is not having glass all the way across so easy to get water on the bathroom floor. As the flooring is wooden it dries quickly so it's not all bad. Overall the room was very nice, all clean and lovely bedding and towels (bath robes too). The whole hotel was very nice and clean too to be honest. As far as facilities go I didn't use the gym, and only used the restaurant for breakfast but it was a very nice breakfast. Good full English and lots of other bits and pieces including bread baked on the premises. Now for the little annoyances that meant i couldn't give a 5 star review. I realize that i could have raised all of them to the hotel staff while staying there but i was out a lot and only got in late most days. 1) the card keys given to me wouldn't work, so needed to go down to reception to get new ones. Hotel staff kindly came up while i tried the 2nd time and also gave me a voucher for a free drink at the bar. Nice touch. 2) I presume the TV is suppose to have some personalized greeting like "Dear Mr Balfour" but it said "Dear false false". These little touches are nice and make the stay seem more special, but it's a shame when they can't actually make it work 3) The smartphone was something that i would have used if I was able to look at it and see how good it was, but the phone wouldn't work at all. I couldn't report this in the morning after my first night as I was going out but I got a local SIM for my phone and then the need went down. It wouldn't have mattered anyway as the phone was missing when i got back to the room later in the evening. I asked reception about this as i wanted them to know that i didn't remove it myself. I was told that the maintenance guy "probably" took it. I said that it would have been nice to have a note or something to tell me this had happened. Then after that i didn't have the phone re-appear in the room. Maybe they heard me say I had a SIM card and wouldn't use their phone but it shouldn't mean they don't give me it back and give me the option to use it. 4) One of the 2 books provided in the room was taken out by the cleaner and never returned. I presumed if the book was there it was for the customer to look at for the whole stay but maybe not! Maybe it was just a welcoming gift or something? Very strange... 5) The text on the TV showing the channels and hotel information was unreadable. Also not all the channels were working. I was out a lot and this didn't bother me much but again if you provide a service you should make sure it works. I hope this review helps people and i hope that the good points are the ones that come more to notice. It was a nice quaint, different hotel and a really nice stay. The staff were pleasant and friendly and I think all this helps. I hope management see this review and act on the things listed to ensure each customer is having everything right and having a 5 star visit Collapse

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in November 2016 and I do not have one bad word to say about the place at all. I booked it as a surprise for my partner's 30th birthday - when booking, I informed the hotel of this, and they made sure we had a lovely room and even put a little sweet treat in as an extra. It really is the little touches! The hotel is ultra modern, really stylish, clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and although we didn't need any, I wouldn't have hesitated to ask them for help. Location couldn't be better - the hotel is literally a 2-minute walk from Earl's Court Underground station, which is right in the heart of London! We didn't get the chance to use all of the hotels facilities as it was quite a busy break for us tourists but I have no doubt that they would have been fab. We intend to visit London again, hopefully the same time of year, and this hotel will be first on my list :) Collapse
