The room itself was OK and the reception staff were pleasant. The restaurant and bar however were awful. Rude staff, awful service and nasty looking food. Breakfast was atrocious, there was a cold buffet breakfast which looked nice enough but on the table there was a card that said a hot breakfast could be ordered, eggs, bacon, sausages. I thought i'd treat myself so I asked for all three, fried eggs, sausages and bacon. 10 minutes later, a plate gets dropped on my table with 2 crappy looking mangled eggs and some tiny 'sausages' that looked more like little poppets of badger poo. The waiter walked away while I was trying to call him back, I was talking loudly to get his attention but he wouldn't look in my direction, I kept calling and he finally looked my way at which point I politely mentioned that I had no bacon. He looked at me like I'd just kicked his dog and went back into the kitchen. 10 minutes later he comes back with the nastiest looking piece of bacon I've ever seen and dumped it onto my now cold eggs and badger poo. Pictures are attached. Needless to say I didn't eat it. I won't be going back and will advise any of my colleagues who visit Madrid not to stay there. Collapse

We stayed here for 3 nights when we went to watch Arsenal play Atletico Madrid. The hotel isn’t in the centre of Madrid but on the outskirts, really near the Wanda Metropolitano stadium (which is why we chose it). Quick taxi journey from the airport. Check in was smooth and the receptionist was really helpful and had good English (helpful as my Spanish isn’t great!) The room was great with a comfy bed and a really nice bathroom with lots of toiletries and one of the best showers I’ve ever had in a hotel. The complimentary water in the fridge was topped up every day and I found that a nice touch. The closest Metro is about a 10 minute walk away and we got around easily despite not being in the centre of Madrid. We ate in the hotel restaurant the first night as we arrived late and found the food to be of decent quality and reasonably priced: two bolognaise, a Spanish omelette, 2 glasses of Rioja, 2 cokes and a bottle of water was about €48. For what we needed this hotel was perfect and I would stay again. Collapse

Recommended this hotel as it was close to my client's offices but wouldn't choose to stay here again. Located out of town but quite close to the airport, hotel has a bar/cafe where I had an average tuna salad (had to ask for a bread roll to go with it). Spacious clean room with wooden floor, fast wifi, bed was hard and pillows soft. Good shower. Disappointed that there was no facility to iron a shirt or have an iron in my room. Collapse

For sure it's a good hotel, but taking into account that we are talking about 4 starts and the cost of the room you should expect something more than this. Althought it will depends on the purpose of your visit Cons: - The nearest subway station is almost 1 km from the hotel. That’s too far to carry the luggage - It’s not near the center of the city or any touristic place so it can be good if you have to work in the area but it isn’t the best place if you want to visit Madrid - There is the usual notepad but without a pen to write anything, so it’s useless - The furniture seem to have had better times, some of them aren’t in the best condition - There are no many places to eat in the round area. You can go to Alcalá street but that means to walk at least 20 minutes - It’s not usual in Spain, but basic in other countries, to have a kettle and some tea bags and coffee. Pros: - I always wonder why not all the hotels give for free a small bottle of water waiting for you in the minibar. It’s less than 1 € and the guest will appreciate it. This time, I was lucky and the bottle of water was there - There is enough light if you need to continue working in your room. It seems logical, but unfortunately it’s not usual in may hotels. - Good and varied buffet for breakfast although the quality of the coffee is…. you’d better go for the tea - High internet speed and without shutdowns.
