Not for those on extended stay. The hotel amenities attracted us and I'd still recommend for short stays, but the staff here and at Marriott Center repeatedly provided bad counsel on how we might incrementally add our nights to our Bonvoy rewards account. The charade continued until ultimately it was too late to pursue in-stay upgrades. It certainly seems Marriott was purposeful in their deception or negligent, in either case, the disappointment is the same. I recommend other hotels/B&B's if staying in the area more than a few days. Great welcome, Hotel is easy to find, good bedrooms. Market kitchen is a marketing sound bite for the Restaurant (nice idea in theory) but poorly executed. Breakfast is a slightly confused affair with customers wandering around asking questions mostly about can I have tea and coffee?.UK self service Restaurants can be a disaster as the staff often leave the residents to work it out, to survive and to do everything but wipe tables clear and restock. The Chef works on a mobile induction cooker which sends out the oily smell of cooking (it needs extraction or self ventilation please!). On one hand you have the likes of straw and eggs from nature, but then there is the reality of plastic kitchen trolleys piled up with dirty plates and staff noisily throwing used cutlery into ice buckets in the area near where you are sat. The hot food unit doesn’t keep food hot unfortunately on breakfast, and the staff love chatting to each other about last night. So in summary “do it well or do not do it!” If you haven’t the budget or don’t give it value then your customers will. Staff need leadership and the management need to experience products and services they design or agree to. Pity really - a nice idea not thought through and very poorly delivered Collapse

When you have a 7th birthday to attend, one needs a place to lay ones head, after all the excitement of a Birthday party, Weve stayed here before, but a fair while ago, Arrived around 7pm Booked in and saw two wedding parties on, first thought was "OMG" Going to be a rough night, How wrong I was... Although the place was Bursting at the seems with Guests, it was all well planned, and were very well Organised, I think the Guests must have been put Away from the Other Guests who stayed here overnight as We didnt have any noise what so ever, even with 200+ guests there, Must admit they were al well behaved even at kicking out time, no trouble that we saw or heard, great news, Decor ... Very well looked after, very few Mark's, on walls etc, rooms were well styled, Comfortable and spacious, decent size bathroom. Lifts to both floors for guests with walking disabilities, Ice machines on our floor so I expect they were above too , beds very Comfy, being a Queen size bed , even more room, Didnt try the Restaurant unfortunately, but wish we had, after going to Frankys And Benny's up the road, and getting total Rubbish. Onsite Pool, sauna, and Gym, inc Jacuzzi all free to use upto 11pm So had to have a try out, pool lovely and warm, so was Jacuzzi.. supply of free towels etc All in all a great stay , with a good price, our room was £132 per night inc Breakfast incl full English, cakes, fresh fruit , salmon a selection of cold meats, porridge to die for apparently, so mrs said, Great coffee, and cakes and everything hot ... Only gripe we had was staff and Guests were allowed to smoke outside the main entrance of the Hotel, which left Cigarette butts everywhere on the floor by reception and disabled parking, Which wasnt a great sight for Incomming Guests, carpark was a good size, 4 disabled bays next to main entrance... Would I stay again , MOST DEFINITELY.. COULDNT Give you 5 * because of the issue with Smokers in main entrance... you have a huge rear garden with bins .. they should be out there not out the front ... Collapse

Saunas and steam rooms available - you can get a swimsuit for $20 right there! A Speedo to boot. I didn't have time for breakfast in the restaurant, but the porridge I ordered for room service was lovely. Highly recommend the Tom's Pie in the restaurant. No concierge lounge which was a bit disappointing, but they will add breakfast to your room for no charge if you choose. Collapse
