I stayed for 2 nights this May on the top floor - 25. The hotel is clean with average amenities. Now most travelers carry a mobile, ipad and laptop and the cost of these business necessities can range from 3KUS$ to 6KUS$ but no room has a safe? Therefore you either need to leave at the desk (which is not big) or lock in your own suit/brief case. Secondly when leaving your cases with the concierge the room door is never locked and the concierge comes and goes (obviously other job chores?). The windows are not double glazed so even on the 25th floor there was a lot of street noise. However, taking into consideration fire and smoke there were no masks on the upper or lower floors for that added safety just in case. Most hotels in S.E.Asia have these in each wardrobe! The personnel were friendly and helpful. However, I nearly paid 600US$ for my 2 nights and was expecting better facilities for this price...!!!!!! Hotel transport is private at 85US$ from the airport. Collapse

Zoe was the first to greet us upon our arrival and consistently throughout our stay has been beyond helpful in every aspect! Zoe holds herself to such a phenomenal level of excellence that I believe she should be considered for a higher-level position. Renee, & Jibreel in the reception are absolutely wonderful as well! Eager to help and serve, always with a smile! I couldn’t be more pleased by the hospitality and customer service at this location! Collapse

I’m a sales rep and I stay in nyc 1-2 nights a week. I usually stay downtown or with another hotel chain. I stayed here 2 weeks ago. I got the 24th floor. Only one elevator worked. It took 35 minutes to get to my room. Once I got to my room the key didn’t work, so I had to wait another 15 min for the elevator to get me back to the lobby to wait another 20 minutes to get back to my room. This is stress and anxiety that nobody needs. The front desk is “it is was it is” and said don’t keep the Room cars near you other cards? The room key card was in my hand... don’t blame me for your incompetence! (Fail!) Last week I had a meeting on 28th and 31st so I said let’s give it one more shot. It’s priced well and I’m sure the elevator is fixed..... It was fixed and it started off perfect. I actually got there @ 1:30 and they allowed me to check in early because I’m platinum elite, recently down graded from Spire Elite. They welcomed me and acknowledged my status and the front desk woman was a 10! I got to my room, washed up and headed out. I had a few meeting and dinner. I didn’t return to my room until 1:15 am. I walked home after dinner to burn off the many Moskow Muels. I got to my room , very small NYC room that’s expected for NY. THERE WAS SCREAMING NEXT DOOR LIKE SOMEONE WAS GETTING BEAT UP OR HAVING A CHILD. I was on floor 24. I called front desk and said I really think a female is getting hurt in the room next to me. She is screaming. I hang up and five minutes later the phone rings to my room “hello, this is front desk and I just wanted to tell you we called the room and gave them a warning regarding the noise and informed them there neighbors can’t sleep”. WHAT??????? A warning? Noise?? He can be hurting her??? 5 minutes later the screaming moves to the hallway. He threw here out of the room in to the hallway. She was crying and screaming right in front of my door. I called again. I said someone needs to get up here now and fix this or help her. He’s screaming from the room and she’s crying on the hallway floor. The front desk called their room again. The lazy gal decided not to get in the elevator and she did her best work sitting at the front desk and making calls at 2 am. I opened the door and asked her “are you ok? She was so drunk or high I decided to let it be. She said they stole her money. There was actually multiple people in the room. There is no security in this building ANYONE can walk off the street and on to elevator and take a ride to the top floors. I got 2’hoirsnof sleep from the yelling and drama and I will never stay there again. We all encounter drama and trashy people, but it’s how you deal with it that makes the statement. Holiday inn on 26th is a huge unsafe failure of big city hotel. 0/5 stars from me. Collapse

Well, I like Holiday Inn hotels because you are never surprised about what you are going to find. Usually they have a good confort and meals with an excellent price. This hotel was not a surprise. We were 4 and the room was a little small, but that's ok. We have 2 double beds. Excellent location, confort, insonorisation and price. The only surprise was the breakfast. This is America and hotels around here are not strong in breakfast (big difference for European hotels on Holiday Inn). So forget if you think you are going to have buffet. There are a menu for breakast, but you'll get much more choices in several places around the hotel and more affordable. If you plan to include beakfast in the hotel price remember that you are going to have two choices: pankcakes or eggs and bacon, plus orange juice and american coffee. It's ok if you stay for a few days, but if you are gonna stay for some more time you'lll get bored of eating the same thing every day. Anyway I will recomend this hotel to visit Manhattan. It is central and you can walk around for the principal interest points or take one of the Subway stations close to the hotel. Collapse
