This is a modern clean hotel with some excellent features. It is located at the Brentford lock so has a view. It has a very convenient car park below but it can get very full at peak times. The reception staff are very welcoming and helpful. It has a delightful pier/baloncy section which overlooks the river and where you can enjoy your breakfast. The only downside is that the hotel allows smoking here close to the bar. For non-smokers who want to relax with a cool drink it can impact your enjoyment. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable however, the air conditioning is not that effective on hot days. Collapse
Ludicrously expensive, noisy and useless reception staff

Sorry for the brutal title but, £169 for a mediocre room, £14.00 to park (in the hotel you are actually staying at) overpriced breakfast and the night reception staff who couldn’t even say hello, welcome or even break a smile as they embarrassingly fumbled around trying to book us in.. swiping my card god knows how many times, and basically not knowing what day it was.. My room apparently was connected to every single Heathrow runway by the din all night and morning... Despite the room being pleasant and clean, this place is a rip off and a circus. I write this as we sit in the lobby now being accused of not paying!!! Despite internet booking with a card, and my card being swiped more times than I can count on checking in!!!! These lot have no clue what they are doing... the reception couldn’t even tell us what rooms we were in!!! I’d avoid this hotel like the plague ..just saying.. Collapse

Arrived to find that there was a wedding going on in the hotel, loads of guests in the bar area off reception and I had immediate concerns about the noise overnight (as I had checked in advance that there wasn't a local football match on!) As we had booked an executive room it was on the first floor (all executive rooms are). I was immediately concerned about the party noise so the lady offered a standard room if we changed out mind and wanted to go higher. Went to the room (129) only to find you couldn't get out on to the balcony and that the guests in room next door could stand right in front of your window and look in as your 'balcony' was actually part of theirs!!! We went straight back downstairs to change rooms and were moved to 134, another executive room with balcony access which no one could come and stand on and look into our room. The room however is nothing special and after all that the balcony isn't either, There is only a rope separating you from the next door so absolutely no privacy if outside. On the plus side, we didn't here a thing from the wedding party even though it went on till almost 1am apparently. The breakfast in the morning was a little disappointing in that the latte came out like dirty water but all the waitress wanted to do was hide my cup? Had an americano instead which was find. And the muffins were frozen in the middle. Other than that, lovely staff, spotlessly clean and a quiet nights sleep. Just don't bother with an executive room. Collapse

We booked an executive room for 1 night and got a great rate including breakfast. On arrival we were a bit concerned when the receptionist let us know there was a wedding and we may find the room noisy, but we needn't have been as we didn't hear a thing. They did let us know that if there was an issue hey would be happy to move us which was good. Our room was on the first floor and had access to a large patio area overlooking the lock, which was lovely and the sun shone for us so we were able to sit out with a drink late afternoon. The room was really comfortable, the bed was large and and the shower was excellent. There is plenty to keep you occupied locally, we booked a Turkish restaurant nearby, Galata Pera, which was excellent. Breakfast was extremely good, lots f options for my gluten free diet and it was all top quality. All in all a great stay and we will be back soon! Collapse
