We stayed there for two nights and were put on the same floor as maybe a tour group from another timezone. Perhaps because they were jet lagged but this stayed up all night (either side of our room and across the hall) and shouted at the type of their lungs. They were out in the hallways outside of our room for part of it. For the rest of the time they were in their rooms and the sound insulation was so non-existent, it was like they were in our room too. We said nothing the first night, despite being kept awake from midnight to 5 am (meaning when we did sleep we missed breakfast), but when it happened the second night, at about 4 am my partner had to go out into the hallway to ask them to stop. We had left music playing very lowly to try and drown out the noise. Then when we got up for breakfast, this group (of maybe 60 people) had taken over the breakfast area and there was barely any food left. When we were checking out we made the staff aware of it and they didn't seem to care. They said they couldn't tell people at what time to go to bed at or to be quiet. We stayed there over a weekend and we returned to work exhausted. Also as we slept late into our second moment at the hotel, we left the do not disturb sign on the door. When we got up we changed it for our room was ready to be cleaned and went out for the day (telling reception the same thing). Our room was never cleaned and we had to go down to reception (again having to take the stairs as this massive group of people were always coming and going and we couldn't ever manage to get the lift) to ask for more towels. Again, there was an attitude when asking for them. The wifi was almost impossible to connect to. Collapse

Stayed here for a night while visiting legoland. 20 mins from the park Lovely hotel with a lovely room, shower was massive and as a family of 4 with a double bed and a pull out bed for for an overnight stay. Had the essentials of a ironing board, iron, hairdryer, TV and a tea and coffee area. Iv rated 3 stars as the restaurant staff and resources were poor. Upon requesting an allergy information sheet for an egg allergy sufferer the staff brought the menu twice after stating we didn't want the menu but wanted the allergy info, once eventually finding it and shown to us they didn't have the information for what was on offer that night, shown poor professionalism. Instead of taking our chances we found a Toby carvery a few minutes down the road. Otherwise a lovely sleep and short stay, breakfast was OK and friendly reception staff. Would stay again if needed to be. Collapse

As like others, this was a quick stop over before an early morning flight so I was delighted not only to get a great rate but a fantastic room. As it was pre-paid, check in took all of 30 seconds (honestly!!). The room was even better than I imagined. No fussy brochures, basic amenities and I even had a comfy couch. The bathroom was spotless and the shower enormous - bigger than many other mid-range hotels I’ve stayed in. Check out was just as easy and being only a few minutes from T5, it was faultless. Collapse

On arriving at this hotel we went to check in was being served and then the receptionist started to serve someone else at the same time. This to me shows un professionalism and just makes everyone else’s wait even longer. I booked this hotel through Expedia for our army v navy rugby weekend away. We had booked double rooms and were given twins but everyone in the group were ok with this as we weren’t going to be spending lots of time in the room. The hotel is very busy so don’t hope for a great nights sleep as people don’t give two hoots about how much noise they make. Doors slamming, phone conversations and showers being run in the early hours (yes people can hear everything) so have a little respect for the rooms around you. Breakfast: absolute chaos on the Saturday tables reserved even though no one was sat there. A member of staff tried to seat us in the foyer area but seeing as the rotating front door didn’t shut the foyer area was freezing. Plenty of choice for breakfast but people sticking their hands in the cereals and not using the tongs or ladles is wrong and puts me off these options. There are hot options on the buffet, bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. Sunday morning breakfast was a lot calmer as we arrived a lot later than the day before. For the price we paid this hotel was just a plain ok and nothing special. Highly doubt we’d return to this hotel but done the job for the rugby. Collapse

This hotel connects with its "richer" brother, the Crown Plaza. If what you are looking for is a clean and comfortable room that you do not need to spend great amounts of awake time in...this is it. Terrifically designed making the most of the space, the rooms are great if small. The staff in front are extremely helpful, the breakfasts unchallenged in scope and quality, and response time to requests fast. I had a small glitch with housekeeping that was corrected in 10 minutes..a great inn. Collapse
