This is an excellent choice for London at a reasonable price. Ealing is about 30 minutes from London centre by the tube. Bus stop is right outside - takes you to Ealing Broadway - two choices from there the Central Line takes you to Bond Street / Oxford Street and the Jubilee Line to South Kensington. Another bus can take you to the Picaddilly Line that gives you direct access to Heathrow. Get an Oyster card and save on high transport costs - there are amply places to top up your card at a number of places called "Off-Licence" (general stores and also the Post Office which is near by. The Hotel can organise a private hotel taxi which I used - it is much better value AND at a fixed price. The staff are truly wonderful, friendly and a happy team - one of the best teams I have ever encountered. Breakfast has a modest selection but everything is top quality - hurrah! The coffee is great and you can even tack a snack away for second breakfast. The WiFi worked well but you have to log in each 24 hours - that's fair enough. Bed is comfortable and the room has ample power points (not on the floor either). On the whole the room layout is well planned - a good use of the space. Great large towels in the bathroom. There is a good selection of movies on the hotel cable TV system. The safety deposit box is easy to use - hurrah ! Excellent supermarket 20 meters away (Sainbury's). Good selection of restaurants near by. A major shopping complex is two bus stops up the road called Ealing Broadway. I liked this hotel so much I am staying again in 2 months time. You can stay here with confidence - it;s good value even if a little out of town. If you were closer in you would most likely pay much more for this level of comfort and service. Collapse

We stayed for three nights and found that the hotel offered a standard of excellence far in advance of some of its more expensive rivals. The staff were wonderful (Joanna et al): friendly, helpful and efficient; the rooms were clean, large enough and well appointed; breakfast was very good indeed and included in the price. The E8 bus stops right outside the hotel going West and takes you, going East, to Ealing Broadway station, which gets you on to the tube system and central London. The hotel has no direct access by car. It is best to drive round the back of the hotel where there is 30 minutes free parking and then take baggage by foot up the pedestrian precinct adjacent to the hotel. Parking is then available at £10 per 24 hours at reserved spaces in a council car park nearby. Collapse

We have stayed in a lot of hotels over the years..... and this one , in its class, is one of the best. This is a new hotel, decorated and furnished to a very good standard. Rooms and Bathrooms are a shade better than Ibis where we normally stay. Very good breakfast, great coffee machine and fresh foods. Staff very smart, helpful and friendly. I really find it hard to fault. Oh... the floor creaked a little! We asked for a quiet room and we had virtually no road noise. 10 minutes walk to West Ealing station, but beware that closes on Sunday. Buses past the door and Ealing Broadway close by. Sainsbury's just next door and lots of shops and budget restaurants nearby. Not the best area but all in all this is a great hotel. Collapse

Rated as a three as I have been very mean in the past to some amazing hotels so in terms of my rating I need to be consistent! Great greeting on arrival, nothing was too much trouble as we were a big group. The Staff were very accommodating of us and that type of assistance is very hard to find generally. Room was fine, clean and comfortable. The bed was so comfy and very welcome after a long day. I have a feeling I could have slept in for a very long time but unfortunately the sound of a flushing toilet and a shower running (which wasn't mine!) woke me up. Breakfast was perfectly adequate and if you wanted something else there are enough places to go, there's even a Greggs next door! Ealing Broadway station is a 25 min walk, or west ealing is a lot nearer, around 8 mins but you need to take the train instead of the tube. Night staff were brilliant looking after us, telling us where to get food at a silly time and charging my phone for me as I'd been a bit too active on social media that day. All in all a good stay with the best staff. These guys and girls would easily fit in the crowne plaza with the way they look after you. Thanks for reading! Collapse
