Hotel very clean and comfortable, staff very polite & helpful. Breakfast was basic but adequate. There was no evening meal option within the hotel but there is a very nice Vintage Inn restaurant across the hotel car park which was family friendly and the food was excellent. Over 4 trips in and out of Inverness by taxi, the cost was never the same twice, varying from £4.80 to £8.30. The city centre was clean and very pretty despite the miserable weather and the locals were very friendly. Collapse

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Inverness for 2 nights while visiting family on the Black Isle between Christmas and New Year. Room was clean and dog friendly , breakfast was good , parking fine . Couldn’t book our usual hotel on the Black Isle itself so chose here and it was only 14 minutes door to door ! Ideally situated for going back and forth over the bridge . Definitely would stay here again , no problems at all . Collapse

My elderly parents and I regularly stay at this lovely hotel. It is really clean, comfortable and well positioned. Each and every member of staff make it one of the nicest hotels you could ever wish to stay in. Over the years they have always been been so professional, and friendly and have helped us in any way that they can, no matter what our needs are. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Collapse

Convenient for the airport and even the city centre and the staff were very efficient and friendly however this is as good as it gets. The room was superficially clean although we felt it could do with a deep clean and we were greeted with an unpleasant smell from the bathroom(dirty gents urinal comes to mind?). The pillow choices say '' hard or soft'' but they should say brick hard or lumpy - not a great choice. The bed was a bit like a water bed in that when you moved everything moved. Sadly there is no ''quiet night'' guarantee and we were woken a number of times with doors slamming. The bar served its purpose for a drink but the limited choice of food hardly makes it worthwhile. Sadly the breakfast did not fare much better to the extent that the second morning we did not bother. We thought it was a good rate as it included breakfast but overall we will go back to the Premier Inn. Collapse
