Couldn't organise the proverbial knees up in a brewery or even a meal for 10 in the restaurant! Reception staff were excellent and the waitress at dinner superb - that is the best I can say! Implementation of new computerised bar system, which the staff had clearly not been trained on, caused problems so we were left waiting 20 to 30 minutes each time we ordered a round of drinks of two beers, a single shot spirit with splash of cola and a Pimms! New lines being put in but bar manager had not thought to order in extra bottled beers to compensate for lack of draught beers. Told there was no cider on three occasions but there was bottled cider in the fridge. One of our party of 10 went without a main course at dinner even though meals had been pre-ordered two hours prior to seating in restaurant - diner was then told that there was no more of the chosen main left! No compensation given for the most poor dining experience I have ever encountered. For a corporate hotel chain this was the most disappointing stay of my life. Breakfast was okay but no better than a Holiday/Premier Inn or Travel Lodge which would have been considerably more reasonably priced for the service provided. This was a meeting point and dinner prior to a family funeral the following day. The whole experience just added to the stress and upset we, as a family, were already experiencing. I wasn't paying the bill for this disaster, it was being picked up by my cousin Mr Paul Matthews, but if I was expected to pay full price for this shambles I would not be happy. Poor show Hilton, very poor show. Collapse

A lovely hotel. Food at reception excellent. Stayed for one night in a large well appointed clean room. View from room looking at the Malvern hills. Breakfast a buffet, can be a bit of a scrum. A very nice place to stay.

Although this is the 5th time I have stayed at Hilton Puckrup Hall, it is the first time for two years. Since I was last here, they have refurbished and renamed both the bar and the restaurant and both are really classy and slightly understated. They are now Coopers Bar and Coopers Restaurant. I had a great room with golf course views and a small balcony which was much appreciated with the lovely sunny weather which we had. The room had everything it was supposed to have, everything worked and it was clean and tidy. I used the spa facilities, ate and had drinks in the bar and had two breakfasts and dinners in the restaurant. Everything was really good and I would have to be seriously nitpicking to find fault with anything. Every member of staff that dealt with me in the hotel was polite, friendly and helpful but I would like to give Niky form the restaurant a special mention for her superb service. Collapse

Having been a few times before we knew the location was ideal and the views across the golf course perfect on a lovely sunny day. Our room 135 was dual aspect and of a good size at the other end of the hotel. The bathroom needs updating especially the toilet flush system. The water pressure from the shower was very weak. The bed was comfortable so a good nights sleep was had. A few minor issues at breakfast we were asked if we wanted tea and coffee but our order got forgotten so we had to chase this up. In the bar area we ordered a cocktail and this was eventually made by the same gentlemen who had forgetten us earlier at breakfast, he then gave the drink to someone else to bring over who then spilt some of it, handing it back to the first gentlemen to gave to me with the cream all down the glass. Later he dropped someones garlic bread so more had to be made. After eating our plates were never cleared away so I had to clear them up and bring to the bar area. Clearly further training required here. We do like this hotel because of its location but it does need a few tweeks Collapse

My wife and I were really impressed with the Hilton Puckrup Hall. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The gym was kitted out with good Precor equipment and we enjoyed using the steam room near the pool. What was especially impressive was the breakfast buffet. Awesome omelette and I was fortunate that the coffee machine payed up - because they bought me a proper barista cappuccino from the bar. I really liked the healthy focus of the buffet. There was good quality gluten free bread on offer (not the microwaved from frozen fare from some recent stays), and natural low sugar juices (Rhubarb, Blueberry and Green tea and lemon). Given the obesity epidemic, to obtain really great quality tasty juices that are not artificially sweetened, and not full of sugar, was a real pleasure... 5/5! Collapse
