Hotel location was good, but the room was very small. There was hardly any space to sit down. One had to lie down on the bed to rest. Room looks much bigger on the web site. Moreover, we had to wait till 6.30 PM to get the room. See more

We were transferred to this hotel as we had redeemed a points stay at the maison Astor which was not yet opened. Hilton corporate was wonderful to deal with as we moved to this hotel - but we were unsure what kind of room we would end up with. We were pleasantly surprised to get an executive king room with a view of the Eiffel Tower. The room was spacious and newly renovated. As a diamond member we also had lounge access - which was fantastic. Breakfast was very nice and during the day there were always snacks, drinks, potato chips and a candy bar to choose from. In the evening the selection of cheeses, meats, salads and desserts were a great way to end a long day in Paris. And the wine and beer were nice after the long hot days. I would have given the hotel 5 stars but one big issue prevented that. It has been also mentioned in other reviews, but the noise from the slamming doors was not a great way to get woken up in the middle of the night or in the morning. You can hear every hotel room door slam shut - from your floor, the floors above and the floors below. The service staff, the hotel guests... everyone in and out of the rooms creates quite the ruckus. One our last morning, I stopped counting at 75 - the number of slamming doors that I heard. Maybe this won’t bother you - but consider yourself warned :) Collapse

From the minute we entered it was all I could do to not look at the painted ceilings and gorgeous decor in the lobby and bar. Our room was tastefully decorated, and with just the right amount of daylighting. The bar was the perfect place to start out each evening. Located next to Gare St. Lazare and within a 10-minute walk to Fauchon, and a 20-minute walk to Champs-Élysées, we found it easy to get around. Collapse

Museums and other sites, you will need a cab or Uber..no big deal, a few bucks. I'm a diamond member and treated well with really great Lounge for breakfast and I guess drinks. Honors lounge was under construction but they did a nice job at making do. I would stay here again. Collapse

We checked in on Thursday. We leave tomorrow. Angela at check in was so wonderful. We are here for anniversary and she was so kind to recognize. She went on vacation so we were unable to have her assist. Our room is so hot. The bathroom is at least 90 degrees. The sun bears in and no window covering. We close the door so the heat from bathroom does not come into our 80 degree room. They gave us a fan and we keep asking for the air to be checked but each evening when we return there is no note in the system so it has not been fixed. It is not acceptable to be a diamond member and spend this kind of money to have NO air conditioning. Tonight we will sleep with windows open (very noisy) and sleep with fan on us. I cannot get anyone to take care of so I’ll write or call corporate upon my return. We only use Hilton’s for personal and business and our staff. We do not complain about much but this is not right.
