The hotel itself is quite pretty and well maintained. Location is good and the boat service is definitely a plus. With that said, the service at this Hilton is hands down the worst I have ever experienced. I am a huge fan of Hilton hotels and have had the pleasure in staying of many all over the world. The staff here has been unfriendly, unaccommodating, and overall disappointing. Our room was not cleaned after a full day out, we asked for late checkout to accommodate our late flight with no interest in helping us, and overall the standard of Hilton staff and service lacks here. We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights. It was the last leg of our journey and the third hotel that we stayed in while in Thailand. Which makes it one of the reasons that I did not give it 5 stars. The other two were one star above this hotel. The hotel itself is very nice. The rooms were of high quality and the staff taking care of the rooms were very nice. I would say the staff at the front desk and the concierge were not as friendly as what we experienced in some of the other hotels that we stayed in during our visit to Thailand. The hotel is right on the river, although the wrong side of the river from everything that you will probably want to do. You have to take a ferry boat back and forth across the river. It does run frequently, however it is annoying to have to do it every time. I would consider staying on the other side of the river on my next trip to Bangkok, just for convenience. The breakfast and restaurants in the hotel were excellent. Definitely check out the lounge on the top floor. It has great views of the city. The pool is also very nice. They have sand, so you kind of feel like you are at the beach. We stay at Hilton hotels a lot when we travel, I must say this is one of the nicest Hilton properties that I have stayed in. Collapse

Large, modern hotel with great river views and a convenient river ferry shuttle. Under a microscope, our room was a little tired, but overall very clean and on par with other Hiltons. The amenities are great here, especially the fitness center for hotel standards. Several restaurants available. Highly recommend getting a room with executive lounge access; The breakfast buffet and evening cocktail reception are totally worth it. I would definitely stay here again for the value and convenience to everything. Collapse

Loved this hotel. We had a room overlooking the river and out to the grand palace. The Executive lounge access was a big plus and it was lovely sitting on the terrace watching the sun set and quaffing the free wine and nibbles (surprisingly good wine). The room was immaculate and the bed massive and comfy. Breakfast was a boggling assortment of Asian, Western, and Continental. My tip would be to eat breakfast at Flow restaurant even if you have executive lounge access as the selection is better and the tables and chairs more suited to eating. The free ferry is really handy and so punctual. I would of had no hesitation in giving this 5 stars apart from the fact that the cold water failed in our room on the last night. We reported it and it was fixed when we came back at the end of the evening, but it failed again as we were showering in the morning. Otherwise loved everything about the place, including the 6 lifts so you never waited long to get to your room. Collapse

We had an amazing stay at the hotel. We stayed for a week over Christmas. The hotel is on the opposite side of the river to what you really need to be at although you can use the hotels free ferry or pay 9p for the local ferry to the other side. To be honest it was nice being away from the crowds. There is a lot of construction beside the hotel for apartments and a big entertainment venue which also will have lots of restaurants so perhaps maybe the location will be the best then?! The room we stayed in was on the 16th floor and had great views. Well finished and comfortable. The bathroom was big and lots of supply of towels. We were a bit disappointed that we could not check in until 3pm despite arriving at 1pm and we had had 2 flights starting in gatwick and hadn’t slept! Anyhow it was nice to chill. Suwanna is a star! She took great care in my food as I am gluten free. All of the staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. The bar is more expensive however I feel you got the service and it was worth it. Sky bar is fantastic. Amazing views. The 6th floor is the pool aka the beach. Great jacuzzis however these should be restricted to adults only as kids used them as paddling pools. Jacky was great at the beach. Great service with a smile. A very enjoyable stay. Concierge service was also great and at night the hotel ferry goes to Asiatheque which is a market style night area.
