We have just completed 15 days here in the Malta Hilton. The hotel is everything you expect, and more. My husband has done a review which sums up what a great place it is to unwind. He was pretty wound up when he arrived for reasons various and a small mistake at check in (computer generated I expect) left him even more so. He is now back to normal thanks to the relaxing atmosphere around the hotel and the kindness and friendliness of the staff in all departments. The room was prepared daily perfectly. Service was exemplary and there was always someone around to help. I must mention one staff member, Mr Robert Vella, the duty manager who was instrumental in sorting out the issue which had upset my husband. His calm approach and sensible resolution to the problem was commendable. Thank you. Thank you also for obtaining tickets for the transmission of Tosca! Collapse

Stayed for 4 nights, we satisfied with the service, room environment, facilities and breakfast. Very friendly and caring staff. Typical Hilton standard !! This hotel is about 20 mins from Malta Airport, taxi is easy. There is an official taxi booth right outside the baggage reclaim, just need to pay a fixed price 25 Euro, the taxi driver will get you to hotel. It’s safe and comfortable. Hilton Malta’s location is good, not too busy you can definitely get peace and quiet. It is surrounded by restaurants, supermarket, coffee shops and the famous BAY STREET. This hotel is set along the coastal line with a very long promenade which is a beautiful walk and picturesque! Breakfast is good ! There is a Thai restaurant “BLUE ELEPHANT”, worth trying if you had too much Maltese food already. We are Hong Kongers , so we know what is the real Thai food, what BLUE ELEPHANT is trying to do is a fusion to give a Thai display and look. The quality of good is still okay. Interesting is a small bowl of rice is worth 5 Euro there, almost the same cost for a proper starter. But it is inside a luxury hotel, so can’t complain. Collapse

This hotel is one of the best or the best in the Hilton group we have stay in. Checking in and out was faultless in the Executive lounge. Tania the receptionist friendly and very professional though out our stay, dealing with airport transport and other minor points. We found all the staff that we came across were very pleasant and attentive, especially Francesca and Claudia in the Executive Lounge. Cannot say anything more that hasn’t been said before, the facilities and restaurants are excellent, as is the location. It was appreciated in the evening we were asked if all was satisfactory and did we require extra towels etc., Our only grievance were the noisy children running around uncontrollably in the Executive lounge at 8.30pm at night. A curfew of 7pm as in the swimming pool banning children from the lounge would be helpful, as the area is also used by business persons. Otherwise the hotel is well recommended. You will not be disappointed. Collapse

We arrived on Saturday evening, checked into our very spacious room and then went for something to eat. On Saturdays and Wednesdays the hotel puts on a buffet (usually €35 for adults, €10 for children) which is sumptuous. Dozens of different, usual and unusual dishes in each of the categories: canapés, starters, main meals and desserts. The hotel also has a wide ranging wine list, which caters for all budgets, and which isn’t too long either. The Chilean Chenin Blanc is our favourite. The Valentine’s Day buffet was even bigger and had a lot of love-themed dishes. It was more expensive (€65 per adult) but it came with a glass of prosecco and small bottle of sparkling wine too). Again, a very special meal for a very special occasion. Highly recommended and the hotel is well worth all of its 5 stars. Collapse
