Currently staying here for what was a 2 night stay, but checking out after just one night due to being under-whelmed. Numerous disappointments, but I'll hightlight just a few. As a diamond Hilton honors member, I expected more from executive lounge. Poor food selection, and they charged for drinks. Food presentation lacked any concern from staff. Breakfast for Hhonors was really sad. No black coffee. The best they could do was an americano dispensed from a machine. I get a much better breakfast at the Hampton inn. Rooms are small, they think a high floor is a room upgrade. No fridge, microwave or kuerig coffee. Sad, very sad. When I brought this to the attention of the staff, all I receive, is a standard, generic coorporate apology. Collapse

Stayed here on business for 3 nights, any longer and I'd have gone elsewhere. Front Desk reception staff aren't very friendly, no "welcome" for Diamond HH. Room decor is pretty awful, a nasty Yellow, the Corridor isn't much better (looks like picture from 'The Shining'. The bedroom furniture looks like it's been thrown in the room with no thought as to what a Guest needs, or indeed how they move around the Room. My Room had a fridge in it (useful ) but it was just dumped in the corner (not great ) Bathroom has plenty of hot water, but has a low level bath, which is crap - may as well just replace it with a walk-in Shower. Exec Lounge is nice, Breakfast isn't bad, cereal/fruit/sausages/scrambled egg. It doesn't have many tables (which makes it feel more spacious/relaxed) but means it can get busy at Breakfast, with people standing around waiting to sit. Aircon is good, room are quiet so you don't hear the Planes (well not on the 13th floor at the back of the hotel. Room service isn't bad, and is quick Collapse

I usually stay here when leaving from LAX. The rooms are reliably quiet, aside form loud doors, and the location is good. The exec lounge doesn't offer much, and they charge for wine unlike some other locations, but they do have fruit and pastries available in a pinch and coffee and tea. They should have lemon for the tea, I had to go 16 floors down to get one in the lobby. It's a pretty basic low level lounge. The wine choice at the bar is quite decent but food at the bar is pretty not great and very pricey. $18. for a shrimp cocktail, etc. I have tried the restaurant on other trips and it's better, but also over-priced. Good for a quiet dinner and servers are nice in there. Collapse

As we live 60 miles from LAX we have learned the hard way that Los Angeles traffic can be hectic. Prior to our flight we stay overnight at the Hilton. The hotel is large; and, caters to travelers and conventions. Despite the turnover the rooms are clean and very well maintained. The hotel offers 24 hour shuttles to the terminals 5 minutes away. Special deals for long term parking are available. Collapse
