When i say worst experience ever it is not an exaggeration as 4 days post check out, I am still in a nightmare. Let me start from the beginning. Arrived to a jam packed car park and drove around for 30mins trying to find a parking. We were eventually told to park on a patch of grass, which my friends and I had the pleasure of paying £16 for each of our 6 cars we came with. It was a hen weekend and we'd previously done an activity and were looking forward to going to the spa. However the next hurdle was at check in. The young lady at check in was utterly overwhelmed by our group of 12, 6 rooms, all of which I was paying for on one card (mine). She insisted maximum was 4 rooms and we had to put the other two rooms in my friends name. She then gave us two sets of room keys and got completely stressed and confused and asked for help from her colleague. That process took 45minutes. During the process she took a holding deposit of £200 that I authorised. Check out was another issue and took longer than 45 minutes. Before we arrived I knew we had a tight schedule so I emailed duty manager Paige and asked her to book dinner at the gallery for 12 people for 8pm. She confirmed via email that it had been done. We got there for 8 and they did not know we were coming. We waiting 25 minutes to be seated. The staff are dismissive and rude, from the restaurant staff to the front desk. I've never stayed at a Hilton and been made to feel Im an inconvenience. So here comes the stressful part.... on check out my cars was declined and on checking my online banking i could see that around £600 was missing. I was paying for everyone and became stressed but put the charge to my credit card. Today is 4 days later and only yesterday did my bank phone me about the transactions from the Hilton on my account. They basically have taken out THREE sets of £200 from my account. When I phoned them they were once again dismissive..i was passed from pillar to post over the entire afternoon on the phone. I have incurred failed direct debit charges which thankfully my bank have agreed to hold off until this is sorted. On one phone call to duty manager Mandeep I was told that the issue lies with my bank as the holding deposit was released on Sunday 13th when we checked out. It was a blatant lie, as the next phone call was from a very nice lady called Mao, another duty manager. Who apologised profusely, and said that the holding deposit failed to be released and they are happy to pay any bank charges I have incurred. I have never spend so many days stressed about money and having not a penny in my account. Unless you crave a stressful experience I would not stay at this hilton. Collapse

I booked the hotel thinking it was close to terminal 5 since the hotel is called "Hilton Terminal 5." I knew it wasn't in the airport and the only hotel located in the airport is the Sofitel. However, I thought that it was at least located a short complimentary shuttle away. I was wrong!! When you come out of the airport, you need to find the bus stops. We found them and then had to wait 30 minutes for a bus. With young children at midnight, this was very disappointing. When the bus finally came, we had to pay 45 pounds for 2 adults and 3 children for a return trip. This is the first time I have ever paid for a shuttle to an airport hotel! Ridiculous!! Then it got worse, the bus goes to other hotels and we had to wait 2 minutes in the Travel Lodge while the driver talked to the hotel staff there. It took 30 minutes to finally get to the hotel. VERY Disappointing. The hotel is nice, the rooms very modern and clean. Also, the staff were nice. However, the shuttle to and from the airport really ruined it for us and we would never stay here again. Collapse

I booked a park & fly night. This represented excellent value for money. A room upgrade included a 3 course dinner for 2, breakfast & entry to the executive lounge. Room soundproof, clean and comfortable.

Great Value in location, service and quality

After a cruise, we wanted a hotel that was close to Heathrow for the flight home at a reasonable price. Our stay from beginning to end was a wonderful experience. The facilities, service, and food were great with no problem at all.
