After negotiating the very tight car park we entered the hotel. We had booked a superior room as we were celebrating my wife's 50th birthday. Room was not ready so met our friends who were also staying at the Hilton. When we got our room it was quite small. Don't know what a standard room size is like. We all used the pool area and sauna etc. Found only one dressing gown and slippers in room. Obviously not checked that a couple were staying room. Disappointing that bar was closed at 11pm after returning from our dinner in city centre. Very good breakfast next day. A little disappointed that more was not done for us as we specifically booked with information that the 6 guest were celebrating a 50th birthday. In fact my sister in law was upgraded to a suite! Mistaken identity? Collapse

Loved this hotel. Was in a perfect location for us to have regular access to the city centre. Our room was beautiful, very spacious and clean. Unfortunately we didn't get any food which we were disappointed in ourselves. The pool was a great bonus, HOWEVER we would have liked to be pre warned that there was a toddlers swimming class on as when we were trying to relax it soon got very noisy and our access and space to swim was limited. Further more, I also thought the prices for the car park were a little high; I have stayed in many city centre hotels and paying what we did for an over night stay- when we already payed a lot for the room was a little disappointing. Visited Leeds during the Easter holidays with husband and 2 children. Hilton was showing no availability online so called to ask, customer service was very helpful and organised a double room to have a sofa bed put in. Arrived at 2pm (check in 3pm) was told our room was ready so early check in wouldn't be a problem. Room was spacious enough with separate living area and bedroom space, would have been perfect for 2 adults, but still fine once sofa was turned into a bed. Sofa bed was quite small , not quite three quarter size, but fine for my 9 and 6 yr old. It was well cleaned and tidy. Breakfast was delicious with a large choice from cooked, continental, pancakes, pastries and cereals. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We used the spa facilities twice during our stay, pool area is quite small and becomes quite crowded if 2-3 families are all swimming. Also, theses facilities are used by people who hold a membership and could sense they were a little unhappy with the families who were splashing around having fun whilst they were trying to have a relaxing/exercising swim after work. NOW THE CAR PARK - having read on here regarding how tight the corners were we were a bit cautious. Getting in isn't the problem its trying to get out! We dont have a massive car (Audi Q5) but we struggled! My husband drive low loader wagons in the past and has managed to get into some tight squeezes, however, he found the corners in this car park very hard to negotiate. Anything longer or wider and i think it would have been impossible! This is obviously the case as the corners have been covered with warning signs that clearly state the hotel will not be held responsible for any damage caused to vehicles and down the wall of each corner are the lovely colorful scrapes of other cars. Had a brief break here to spend our anniversary weekend in Leeds. On arrival the hotel had upgraded us to a suite which was fantastic and really appreciated. Very quiet room (even though hotel seemed busy) and a really comfortable bed. Great amenities in the room. Location is superb for the city centre and for Leeds Station. We did not eat in the hotel however the food that I did see looked wonderful. Lovely relaxing bar area. I did want to treat the Mrs to some spa treatments but couldn't fit her in which was a shame but saved me some money I suppose...and it's the thought that counts! Enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend and stay here again. Collapse
