This hotel should be rebranded to one of the 'lesser' Hilton brands, and maybe the guests would be less disappointed. It starts already with the shuttle which is both ugly and uncomfortable. The hotel web site says that the shuttle is free from the airport to the hotel and 2 Euro going the other way (which in it self is not acceptable). The actual charge is 3 Euro any way. Except for gold Honors members who go free. The rooms are ok, but rather worn down. The newly renovated restaurant and bar is noisy and not very welcoming and the food we had was not anything to write a review about. The check out took 15 minutes because they wanted to charge for a room paid with points. Collapse

I stay at this location each time I am flying out of DUB. You can catch a bus just across the street and be in the heart of Dublin within 30 minutes. The shuttle service to and from the airport is excellent. The rooms are very clean and nice. The restaurant has great food and drinks and many nights has live music. I could tell that locals also frequent the bar and restaurant. Collapse

I stayed two nights as a solo traveller this week. First there was a delay landing in Dublin due to the weather, but that was fine. I have been to Dublin airport many times and was guided to stand 16 where the "courtesy" bus would come. I looked at the timetable which I found was very out of date, after waiting a long time the bus came and it charged 3 euros single or 5 euros per person return. I was fortunate to have euros but they don't take cards or allow passengers on and pay at the hotel. A gentleman kindly gave another passenger 3 euros or he wouldn't be allowed to travel. Once at the hotel, David at reception was so helpful and sorted out my 2 separate reservations with professionalism and humour. My room was lovely on the 4th floor and very clean. I went down for all meals and found all the staff so friendly and polite. The menu for all meals was similar, the food was nice and fresh. The breakfast selection good, some things like the scrambled eggs were too salty for me but that is a personal preference. Overall an lovely stay and would come again. Keep up the good work, but on check out you need to ask guests how there stay was. I did mention the shuttle bus but despite apologising they seemed to shrug it off. I can see from other reviews that this is the main complaint from quests. Easiest thing would be to advertise the charge and also update the timetable. Collapse

We stayed here the last night of our Ireland vacation so that we wouldn't have any hassles getting to the airport early the next day. We also had seen some reviews here that mentioned a shuttle going to Malahide which we thought would be a fun last dinner. Alas that service is no longer. So on the plus side, this hotel was clean, room was quiet, and after reading the signage on the temperature control it was nice and cool (we were there in July). The shuttle service was prompt and effective. On the not so great side, the hotel is in an area where additional restaurants and stores are certainly anticipated, but space is vacant. Other than an expensive Asian restaurant and a grocery store across a busy intersection, the hotel bar and restaurant is your only choice for meals. While the front door staff was pleasant and accommodating, not so much in the restaurant/lounge. Live music was playing, the wait staff could not hear us, there was no one seemingly in charge of seating and after wandering around the area looking for a seat or a person to help we gave up. Now I will admit that we got room service and had a very nice dining experience in our own room watching a movie ;-). So, if you're looking for a comfortable airport hotel with easy shuttle service, typical hotel fare food, this works just fine. Next time though, given the proximity of the airport to Dublin and lack of shuttle service to Malahide, we will probably opt to stay in the city. Collapse
