Very disappointed, hilton brand is normally very good and over the last 12 months I've stayed in quite a few hilton hotels around the UK. This one however is tired, dated and in desperate need of a refurb. Decor is an eye sore. The restaurant food is poor quality, it felt like cheap gastro pub meals but with hilton prices. The staff however were great, no complaints there. Room heater was extremely noisy and a musty smell emitted from it every time it turned itself on. Would not stay there again. Collapse

We spent a Friday night here and it was a great experience from beginning to end. I had made my reservation online but called the day before to ask some questions. The lady I spoke with was friendly and helpful and answered all my questions. She even made some excellent suggestions on how to make my stay even better. Upon check in at about 830pm the lobby was quiet with a few people having a drink at the bar. We were helped right away and the young lady who was new was friendly, courteous, and sincerely interested in making our stay wonderful. I can't thank he enough for her excellent service. Our room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I came down for a drink at the bar and the staff were very nice. When I decided to explore Cobham, the manager provided several suggestions on places to go and offered to call a cab. We slept soundly in comfortable beds with no noise or disturbance. In the morning our wake up call was on time (sadly this is not a given at all hotels). Breakfast was great. Everyone was very helpful. My son needed to get on the road very fast. When we asked for plastic cutlery to take a yogurt to go the team cane through though I could tell they don't normally offer this (thanks!). I had a delicious and leisurely breakfast on the terrace overlooking trees and greenery. When I arranged for a late check out this as actually communicated to housekeeping which also sadly is not a given at many otherwise great hotels. Overall a great experience. 30-40 minute drive from Gatwick, got checked in early due to flight arrival time. Claire in restaurant was incredible made a suggestion of something to do in the area which really appealed to us both.

We chose this Hilton due to its proximity to Chessington World of Adventures. The hotel is one of the most family-friendly Hilton properties I have visited as a Hilton Honors Diamond. On arrival, my 2-year old was offered a pirate's play pack, which he was delighted with. The staff, led by David, were exceptional. Shortly after checking-in, the front desk sent me an SMS to check that all was well - the first time I have ever experienced this at a Hilton. We had a Deluxe patio room, which opened up onto the lawn facing the health club. It was great for a picnic in the sun. The restaurant and staff were comfortable with young children (we had 3 boys under-3) and knew the most popular items on the children's menu. We were blessed with a beautiful warm morning, so able to have al-fresco breakfast outdoors on both mornings, overlooking the lawn. The staff were happy to set-up outdoor tables on request. The traffic from the A3 was audible in the distance, which was slightly unfortunate. There is a family changing room and a lift to get to the pool/health club. On check-out, the £10-off-£40 F&B e-upgrade was not received, but David went above and beyond and took two drinks off our bill instead, exceeding the original discount. A number of points worth noting if you are staying here. As you come off the A3 onto the A245, the junction onto Seven Hills Road South at the traffic lights was not signposted. We therefore missed this and had to turn back. The approach from Byfleet was signposted. This property is due to be refurbished - there were external works being done while we were there - scaffolding outside the Grill restaurant. Except for appearance it had no effect on our stay. Our room was serviceable, though the patio door needed some force to open, the wallpaper was peeling at the edges and there was a visible red wine stain on the wallpaper - it is evident that housekeeping's had made an effort to remove it. None of these things had a material effect on our stay. If appearance is not important, this is a family friendly property with exceptional service, normally only seen in Hiltons in Asia Pacific. I hope the level of service remains at this standard after the refurbishment later this year. I look forward to visiting again. Collapse

We have stayed as a couple at the Hilton Cobham for may years and always returned due to the excellent location, superb service and the best breakfast ever. On his visit we had accumulated enough Hilton rewards points for a free stay. However, we had a very bad experience with the guests staying in the room next door to us something which we have never experienced before. One call to reception and within minutes the guest relations manager David sorted out the issue and moved us to another room in a different part of the hotel. David needs a special mention as he sorted the issue to our complete satisfaction - Well done David we shall return. Collapse
