Loved Chef Shane’s Mixed Grill dish which entailed a little bit of surf and turf....chimichuri skirt steak, scallops and prawns. And I also had the suggested Cabernet Sauvignon which paired perfectly with the dish. Thank you Chef Shane and also Kellby for the great service. And to top it off we had the bread pudding topped off with a delicious rum cream sauce! Also loved the bar and the happy hour! Collapse

We stayed at 4 Hilton Hotels during our vacation in Florida, 2 were wonderful and 2 not good. This Hilton was not good at all! The bartender was not friendly, unprofessional and unnattentive. there was an automatic 18% tip, this was painful to give her. The restaurant was uninviting - we didn't eat there. Dirty elevators. The room was literally falling apart. Toilet seat about to come off, drawers falling off, closet door didn't close, tattered furniture. There was LOUD music playing at 6am by the 3rd floor pool!! would have been nice to hear the waves. We couldn't open the sliding glass door, we called maintenence and they came right away, but the door was still quite difficult to open. Collapse

I'm a bit embarrassed writing this review since as little as last year I was raving about this hotel. Also, shame, shame on me that I continued to support this hotel for the last 7 months while I travel to Miami on business. Since my first stay it has been down hill all the way. #1. NO ONE ANSWERS the phone. If you want room service it rings and rings and rings. If you are lucky the front desk might pick up. They will transfer back to room service and there you listen to the ring that no one answers! #2. Housekeeping doesn't clean. This is a hotel that I would purchase the wand that lights up over the sheets and towels to make sure the linens have been changed. During this trip I left my room from 10 am to 5:30 pm and returned to find my room had never been cleaned. I tried to call the front desk but of course no answer. I walked down to the front desk and was told 17 rooms had not been cleaned because 2 employees called in sick. I am at a HILTON. I would think back up housekeeping would be in place for situations like this. I would also expect that management would train front desk properly so they would not disclose to a guest that 17 rooms were outstanding and employees had called in sick. #3. Dry-Cleaning. I am a business traveler. Use a service that delivers what you print on the dry-cleaning tag. It clearly says in by noon back by 8 pm same day! This on 2 occasions never happened. My laundry showed up both times at 9:30 pm or later. On one of the days when I turned in my laundry to the front desk the young man told me there was no same day service, even though it was clearly on the tag. No training from management. Heres where I get really picky. I am a Hilton Diamond. In most cases I wouldn't mention it however what it means to Hilton is I stay at their properties a lot! When I say a lot I mean I choose Hilton over other properties that I hold status with when I travel. I enjoy the fact that I am recognized and upgraded when there is space. I enjoy the complimentary breakfast, the executive club benefits, the complimentary water. However, please please do not tell me you have upgraded me or gone out of your way to do something for me when it is standard. Upon checking in during this stay I was told I had been upgraded with a fabulous room ocean view. Remember, I have stayed at this property at least 7 times over 2017 to present. I was given a room on the 4th floor that looks directly into a wall. No joke! A wall. By the way if they offer room 427 ask to switch. I will give credit where credit is due. One woman at the front desk if you are lucky enough to meet her knows the business. Her name is Stephanie. The outside bar has a stellar employee that understands service and how to deescalate problems. Her name is Nicole. The entire Valet crew is spot on and always offers assistance. The Food and Beverage Director tried to make things right. I appreciated his assistance and I was going to pass on writing this review. But.... this morning I tried to reach the front desk for check out assistance. When it didn't get answered it rolled to the Concierge. I asked for help and was told it wasn't his job. I called back 10minutes later still no front desk pick up. I again got the Concierge. This time I asked for a supervisor. He proceeded to tell me he didn't see anyone. I asked for the General Manager. I was told he wasn't on property. I asked to be transferred to the back office. I was told he was helping another guest and he would call me back. NOT OK! And this is what pushed me over the edge to let the world know this property has serious guest service issues. It is clear management is not running the show in this hotel. Staff is not properly trained and definitely not trained to Hilton standards. This week and my past visits add up to a ton of money spent and a rotten taste in my mouth! I can stay in a hole in the wall if I am treated like the paying guest that I am. I will be taking my business elsewhere and this will be the last time I give this hotel my business. PS I don't think the hotel gym has EVER been cleaned! Collapse

I cannot say enough wonderful things about the beach staff at this hotel. Nathan, George and Lucas were absolutely amazing to us everyday and made sure we were well taken care of. They were always so polite and checked on us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed. We also had wonderful service from the outdoor servers, Michelle and Caesar. They both were extremely friendly and super efficient. Great outdoor service ! Collapse

Arrived @ 830a after week long cruise. Checked in and was told that they would put a “rush” on my room to get me in sooner as a Hilton Diamond. As I’m writing this, it is 5:54pm and I just received my keys. A trillion kids in both pools all day. The ceiling fan is missing a leaf. The carpet in the room is stained with what looks like blood. No water or bonus points offered upon check in- absolutely zero attention paid to my hilton loyalty. Paid using 60k hilton points, rate was $320, I wouldn’t have paid $125 to stay here. Go somewhere else. I’ve moved away from Hilton as a brand, I do like the Amex but the properties are all going downhill and this one is a perfect example. Hyatt visa by Chase is the way to go, they are on the up and up. Take my word for it. Collapse
