This hotel is a DUMP, and Hilton should be ashamed to even still have this hotel open to guests! It is old, dingy and the rooms are awful and the toilet in my room did not work properly -- so when they tried to change me to another room on two (2) occasions, both of the rooms' door entrances showed extreme signs of distress around the door jam by thieves, as the molding was cracked, wood chipped away, and dents ran along the edge of the door (outside and on the interior) where a crowbar or something was used to pry the door open. Do not waste your time or money, the beds are old and they don't have real 'full size beds' either!! It is just a complete mess!! Don't be fooled by the quick brash of renovation-look in the lobby, dining area and 1st floor bathroom -- it is all smoke and mirrors to get you to stay at this dump!! The rooms are old, dingy and awful -- and ripe for criminals to steal your things given the wood framed door entryways that show evidence of break-in!!! BACK AWAY..., far away..., from the Bracknell Hilton!! Collapse
Not bad, but could be better

We stayed here as a family with 2 King bed rooms on a RO basis. When we checked in which was quite late, we were informed we'd been chosen as VIP for the day, so both rooms had fruit plates added. Having read some of the reviews after booking, I had some reservations about what I would encounter, but in general it was not an issue. Both rooms looked as if they had been recently renovated and the beds were comfortable, however we had an issue with the thermostat in our shower which only seemed to give very hot water. In addition, we had a dirty tea cup which obviously hadn't been cleaned by housekeeping. Both issues were reported to the front desk on check out. Would we return? I think so. Collapse

I am a Diamond member and have travelled around the world for business staying at Hilton. This is by far the worst Hilton I have ever stayed at. Frequented by pensioner coach tours on the way to visit Windsor Castle and families with young children visiting the nearby Legoland, this is no 4* hotel and should be stripped of the current status. No upgrade for Diamond members upon check-in which is fine. But the absolute bare minimum I would expect a Hilton receptionist to do (or any hotel as a matter of fact) is to at least inform your guests what time breakfast is served. I have to ask about everything from breakfast, WiFi, check-out etc. There is no teabags in my room, neither the phone nor the in-app messaging works, most probably no one is minding them. Eventually I tried an external number from my mobile and was told by the receptionist to come down and collect my own teabags despite them being missed by housekeeping in the first instance. The double room is tiny, smaller than a student dorm room. Old pizza boxes, bottles of booze and dirty glasses just lying everywhere around by the lift as you enter the floor, I am not sure if their housekeeping department is on strike. But can also understand they do not need to keep up with any standard whatsoever as most people would be one-time visitors to the nearby Windsor or Legoland and therefore what is the point of improving anything in the hotel or offer any services at all? Just a shame to see this is supposingly Hilton chain and a 4*. You are better off with Premium Inn or Travelodge next door with a cheaper price tag and much spacious room. And if you are a Hilton Diamond, you can get your current Hilton status matched to Marriott Platinum status and stay there instead. Hilton management: if you are reading this, don't bother responding with a copy and paste standard default response. This hotel is beyond help. Collapse
