We were very impressed with the standard and the finish of the hotel, everything is new, clean and well looked after. We had a booked a family room and when we entered our room the double sofa bed was made up accordingly which was great and there was still plenty of space. The location of the hotel was great for the beach and pier which is where we wanted to take our son out. When we returned to the hotel at 9pm our room which was room 101 was so noisy. It really isn't the location to put a family so close to the road but the main issue was the blaring music and bass which was so loud it prevented us getting to sleep. Being heavily pregnant and having a child with me we were really hoping to be able to get some rest as the cost of the room was not cheap. I phoned reception to ask to be moved to a quieter room - the girl I spoke to was training and was not really sure what to say me as the hotel was fully booked. I asked what more could be done and was promised the manager would call me back. By this time is was 10.15pm - the manager never returned my call. I found this highly disappointing as I thought the call would at least be returned out of courtesy as basic customer service. We left the hotel tired ahead of our drive the next day. Not a good end to an otherwise great trip to Bournemouth. Collapse

Took my Son to Bournemouth to watch the football and I was really impressed with the Hampton by Hilton Bournemouth, Staff were very friendly and nothing was to much trouble the only thing that I could pick up on was that there were stains on the carpet in our room which didn’t look to good . Apart from that everything else was superb. Collapse
A new, clean, bland and not at all cozy "stay-one-night" hotel

We were a big group coming from the Channel Islands and continuing to Heathrow, but had to overnight in Bournemouth. The tour arrangers had booked the Hampton by Hilton, where we arrived rather late. The hotel looked brand new, and the Hilton name created a certain expectation. The reception was fine and the rooms distributed quickly. My room was a reasonable size one, nice view, no extras but clean and with a clever touch of a common sliding door for the bathroom and the closet. One or the other was always open, thus you save a door! After getting the room, we wanted a drink, thus forward to the bar! The bar was a bare counter with a few stools and some tables a bit further away. Seldom have I encountered a more bland and dismal place to "enjoy" your evening drink! We did not, and retired very soon. The room temperature was nice and cool, so I left the air conditioner on. After a while, when starting to doze off, I was disturbed by a loud gurgling noise. I found out the noise came from the air conditioning machine, and shutting it off did solve the problem. Fortunately the weather was not hot ... The bed and sheets were fine and the sleep very restful. The breakfast was a standard variety, it amazes me how the UK hotels seem not to be able to make proper scrambled eggs. Maybe they use war-time stocks of powdered eggs ... The hotel has a free wifi. For a quick overnight stop the hotel was OK but I would not recommend it for a longer holiday stay. Collapse

I recently spent a weekend at this hotel and can thoroughly recommend it. The staff are so welcoming, helpful & friendly. My room was spotless and well presented. It provided all the essentials for a very pleasant & relaxing stay. I was there with family which included young children and they were made to feel very welcome. We were booked in for B&B and the breakfasts were excellent, lots of choice & variety, both cooked & continental. The hotel is near to all the local amenities, within walking distance to the beach and shopping centre.Taxis are nearby & we never had long to wait for one. Definitely a must for a return visit.
