The Hilton is located near to the river with very easy access to the train station and an interesting flat walk to many attractions. Our corner, studio room had full length windows offering a fabulous 180 degree view of the city, the river and hills in the distance. Yes it's in need of a makeover, but I hope there are some things that they don't change: The lighting system, which is easy to use and doesn't require a degree in electrical engineering to understand, a comfortable sofa you can sit on without having to remove dozens of cushions and a good sized bathroom with a nice big tub, a double sink and lots of places to hang towels and bathrobes etc.. The club lounge is quite small but comfortably furnished. Unfortunately, there's no toilet nearby, so a trip down to the lobby or back to your room is required when nature calls. Evening offerings include serve yourself spirits, wine and beer, cheese and biscuits and two cooked choices. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good and included all the usual buffet offerings plus sparkling wine and porridge with whisky! Pre-stay emails were answered promptly and requests granted. Diamond HH benefits included an excellent room upgrade, lounge access and generous welcome amenity. All of this made for a very pleasant stay but the thing that really sets the hotel apart is the staff. Every member of staff we met, from front of house to wait staff and housekeeping were exemplary, being both friendly and efficient. Collapse

We stayed at this location and were extremely pleased with the accommodations. Our King room was spacious, modern, clean with a view of the city. Our booking came with a full breakfast which was perfect for our needs and hey, who doesn't want fresh brown soda bread with butter? Staff was helpful, friendly and kind. The train station is literally steps away for easy access. Take a walk along the River Lagan North to The Big Fish and Beacon of Hope. St. George's Market is also very close with the best atmosphere and indoor shopping. If you want a fresh Cod and chips, don't miss Simply Fish Chips & Bistro, it is the best! We would definitely stay at this location again! Collapse

Stayed 2 nights attending a conference. The staff and facilities were absolutely excellent from front of house to catering and cleaning staff every person I came into contact with was so friendly and helpful. The location couldn’t have been better just minutes from St George’s Market and City Hall and right in the heart of the Titanic Quarter. The room facilities were fine although it was a bit dated and could do with a refresh. That said, it was very clean and the bed linen very high quality. The restaurant was very good and breakfast excellent. There is a comfortable executive lounge with a good selection of beverages and food. What makes this Hilton stand out for me is the staff - so nice, so well trained, so professional. I would definitely stay there again. Collapse
Good central location, reasonable in the price but rooms a bit tired and a nightmare

Upon our arrival the gent that checked us in was very attentive and polite. We was staying here on a work business trip. Unfortunately, there was a delay to check in to the room as it wasn't ready straight away. This was approx 1.30hrs. When I eventually got allocated a room on Floor 2 (beware!), It wasn't the best of views. I was looking at a building that can only look like a tall, grey warehouse. No lovely views of the city it boasts on the website but just a warehouse wall. I immediately asked Reception if any other room was available but she stated not. As of which then, the air conditioning wouldn't turn off which doesn't really fit well when it's baking hot outside and you've got the sun beaming through your window. Within an hour of being in the 'steam room', I wish I'd either been allocated a different room, a different hotel or even better - diverted to Iceland instead. 1. The toilet was left with dirt/brown grime around the water line inside the toilet. 2. Plug didn't work and flooded over the bath TWICE - called Reception and informed them of this. It was like a log flume party had evolved in my bathroom. They did come and rectify this rather promptly, after 20/25 minutes though. Also, the day of departure the shower just stuck on full power mode. I think it does need looking at. 3. The water pressure was either red hot, cold or just a trickle. 4. A MASSIVE Health and Safety issue regarding the restrictor on the room window - it pushes that far out and with some force you could fall through it. I woke up the next morning in what I can only describe 'tropical conditions known to man' i proceeded to open the window and nearly went down to the Ground floor with it. 5. To add to the disappointment, there was no TV remote provided so I couldn't watch the Television on a night. Don't get me wrong, the hotel is relatively nice but unfortunately the room did let it down on this occasion. I have since emailed the HO to report this - especially concerning the window fault. In addition, the food was of of adequate quality but it was basically like some cold, tasteless hernia on a plate (the ravioli). It just really wasn't to my taste and a few other people I spoke to said the same unfortunately. They did have another option available but it's a bit tricky when you're a fussy veggie eater.
