Hi Hilton Abu Dhabi Team Just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you once again for a wonderful stay. My husband and I have been coming every Easter for 6 years and we returned this year with our 6 month old daughter. Whilst I agree with all comments re rooms, for us this has never been an issue as the beach club far makes up for the slighted dated decor and small size. However, it is the professional, friendly staff that always surpasses my expectations! Yet again, they were amazing and made our daughters first holiday so special. A BIG thank you to Cherry in Vascos who went above and beyond at every dinner as well as Ram down on the beach. I can safely say, we will return next Easter. Big thanks guys Collapse

Stayed with my wife in this hotel (Room #918) for 3 nights during recent vacation. While rooms are of regular size and clean there are things that show the age. For example, bed headboard is all peeling and looks like something in motel 6 (see attached picture). Also there is beginning of build up of black mold in the shower (see attached picture). Room chairs are old and uncomfortable to sit in. I'm a diamond member but instead of an upgrade it seems that we got cheapest room on the property for which we had to wait for about 30 minutes after arriving at 4:30PM. Window was very narrow with walls on both sides and room looked dark and gloomy (see attached photo of window and walls). Refrigerator was barely cold. Also, main restaurant breakfast was not included for diamond members. Shower is over the tub with shower curtains. Premium WiFi is slow and it was impossible to download or stream anything. The executive lounge is nice but always crowded. Food there is good and service is excellent - it seems like they have some kind of food all the time. Property is located by the beach but not directly on the beach. You need to walk for about 10 minutes and cross the highway using underpass. The beach club has couple of restaurants, several swimming pools, lots of lounge chairs and umbrellas for shade. Hotel provides free shuttle several times a day to a nearby shopping center and paid shuttle to the Sheikh Zayed Mosque. Overall a mixed experience, but mostly because room was so shabby as to color the entire stay. I'm giving two stars for this stay instead of 0 only because of the excellent executive lounge. We will never stay in this hotel again. Collapse

A well positioned Hotel for the Corniche area and pricing is hard to beat for the location and Beach Amenities. A big plus was the Hiltonia Beach area, which also had an adults only pool. This pool area was relaxing and quite peaceful (though we were staying at beginning of the week). A recurring theme on reviews about this Hilton Hotel is the rooms and we have to concur that they need proper updating, in particular the Bathrooms. Our room Air Con was also not working properly and were moved to another room within an hour or so of arriving. An upgrade from our Executive level room in size and the Air Con did work better but was noisy - thanks to Abdul the night manager for sorting. We decided to downgrade from the Executive Club, as it was some distance from the beach area and felt that we would not make good use of the facilities. We did ask if there were any modern/refurbished rooms available but were advised that they were all the same. The staff we met with were all without fault and Yadav in the breakfast restaurant was particularly helpful with a very accommodating manner. A fair selection of food was available at Breakfast and the live station Omelettes were very good. However, given the plus points we would not stay at this Hilton in the future - sorry Hilton its the tired rooms Collapse

A typical Hilton hotel with a brilliant beach club. The rooms in the hotel itself could do with a little updating, but the staff in the hotel more than make up for this. They are very helpful and I was very impressed that, upon departure, the staff knew who we were and took the lead with the taxi and luggage. Breakfast was very average. A tiny area to eat in, limited cooked breakfast selection and cold meat selection. The porridge was surprisingly delightful! Staff again were very friendly. The selling point of this hotel is the beach club. Loads of sunbeds (a bit busier on the weekend), warm shallow sea, selection of pools, all close together. You may wish to invest in some parasols that don't all blow onto people in the wind and also may wish to tell your staff to not put those down that don't blow away thus leaving belongings cooked in the sun. I did feel that the staff here were very unhelpful on the whole, only helping when asked and seemed to be there to tell people off. Having stayed in 5 star hotels in Dubai where the staff help before you even realise you need it, I was quite surprised by this. The low point of the holiday was when my wife tried to take a small swim float into the adult pool (one of the long, thin 'noodles') only to be told off by the lifeguard - not sure what he was expecting her to do with it, it certainly isn't a toy and couldn't be less obtrusive. He was very rude and frankly this is unacceptable in a 5 star hotel. The location is fantastic and we often ate at the Mall and on occasion Vascos where we were treated very well indeed. Once established that the adult pool area is hostile, we stuck to the beach and had an excellent time. We will likely return. Collapse
