Stayed here for two nights as part of a group. For the two nights we stayed we had no hot water! We were offered complimentary drinks! Seriously? What would you rather have a shower of a cheap drink? Spending 2 days travelling around London and surrounding areas with a coach full of people, none of whom had had a shower - if this had happened to anyone else I would have laughed. The tour company have arranged for compensation and have assured us that they will not be using this hotel again. Was informed the hotel was good but has recently changed management..... Staff were ok - dealing with a lot of complaints and trying to make the best of a bad situation. Breakfast - edible, not sure about the sausages and eggs - tasted a bit strange! Avoid these. Didn't see it myself but one of the other travellers claimed to have seen a mouse in the dining room. Personally would not stay at this hotel. If this is new management, they really need to get their act together. The two things essential to a good hotel are a good bed and a hot shower. Collapse

Stayed here last night (27th April) with my husband for my 25th birthday which was a pleasant experience but a couple of minor issues. Arriving, the parking was great, plenty of spaces and free of charge to guests. Checking in was a bit of an issue as the staff behind the reception were quite rude, gave us our room card and just sent us on our way with no directions and not being told where the spa/pool was, dinner times or having to book, no info on check out or breakfast times either. Made our way to our room which was right at the other end but we didn't mind that, our room was spotless so no issues there! Despite being right next to Heathrow couldn't hear the planes at all as was very well sound proofed. We went straight to the gym for a workout which was also spotlessly clean as was the swimming pool and changing areas. Only issue is the lockers don't shut so I didn't put anything in there and took my bag into the pool area. We went to reception after to ask about dinner and they said you need to book as it gets busy but didn't tell us we'd have to book or how to do so. We booked for dinner and the food was lovely, great service from the restaurant staff as well, couldn't fault it. We both had a great night's sleep, beds were comfortable enough and the bedding of good quality. In the morning we had to ring reception to ask what time breakfast was being served until as we weren't told prior and there was no information in the room. Had a shower before going down but the showers pressure was so bad it was nearly impossible to rinse the soap off! Got down for our breakfast and it was self service, the food was OK but the scrambled eggs were inedible, had the texture of rice! Everything else was alright and plenty of selection. Overall it was a nice stay, the hotel was very nice but the staff at reception don't do it justice unfortunately. Collapse
Awful service and dirty rooms

As soon as I entered room, room was stinking. I had to call house keeping immediately. Electric kettle was dirty. I called front desk 3 times but no one came to fix this. Rooms are not sound proof. It’s too noisy.

I chose to spend a night at this hotel after reading favourable reviews. The site is situated a little away from Heathrow. If one is coming by road from the airport, the road leading up to North Hyde Lane was closed from the A4 Great West Road, after a slight detour through some residential roads I managed to find the hotel. On arrival the hotel had plenty of parking spaces of which unlike a lot of airport hotels is free of charge. A big bonus if you're parking your own car. The entrance and exit had a barrier of which you take a ticket and show to reception. The lobby area was very large and very quiet, the reception staff were pleasant and welcoming. On getting to the room, there was only a shower no bath tub in the bathroom. So I asked for a room change with a bath tub which was done with no fuss. Had great view of the M25, the room itself was of a decent size and well appointed with modern decor and furniture, however there was no fridge. The bed was comfortable with thick mattresses. I had an end room and apart from some traffic noise from the motorway, getting to sleep was not a problem. The swimming pool and sauna was great, the water was warm and clean. The changing room was also clean and tidy. The pool is a little on the small size but as I was the only swimmer in there it was not a problem. There is also a small gym next door which I did not use. There were no staff on duty in the pool or gym area. Overall a decent and quiet experience, the hotel seemed very empty and lacked atmosphere. If you want peace and tranquility then this is a suitable place to stay during the week. I did not use the restaurant or bar in the evening so can't comment. Collapse
