Nice hotel but room amenities basic! Bathroom products they do not replace if partly used. No room service menu in room. The first day I went to breakfast to have awaited service and ordered my food,I waited for 30 mins sand nothing arrived and had to goto work. I called duty manager to complain,he didn’t care at all and said it was down to staffing, the second day I didn’t even venture for breakfast. I will stay somewhere else next time. I will complain to capita travel and take hotel off the list Collapse

I would thoroughly recommend Hartsfield Manor to anyone looking to host a course. I stayed in the Old Manor Building and the room was perfect apart from not having a desk to work from. The Bed was large and comfortable, Bathroom spotless with Molton Brown toiletries. Great view overlooking the Grounds. Still and sparkling Mineral water and high end tea coffee, biscuits. Food, especially at lunch was very good. Steak cooked perfectly in the evening with a good, homemade sauce Diane. Bar is small and can get busy but no really long waits. The Staff , Front of House, Kitchen , Cleaners were all friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the stay and it really made a difference to have a relaxing comfortable place to stay during the course. Two improvement points: Desk for the Room and shallow the gradient of the ramp down to the Car Park. If you have a low slung Car you will ground it. Finally a big Dakujem to our favourite Slovak ! This was just a one night stay, booked at about a week's notice. We were helping our son move home and needed a bed for the night. Hartsfield is in a lovely quiet area of Surrey countryside with extensive well kept grounds. Reception is easily found although the carpark is down a steep slope. The reception staff were friendly and efficient and the interior exactly what you would expect upon viewing the exterior, lots of wood paneling and sumptuous carpets and curtains. Our room overlooked the back of the property with views over a terrace and extensive lawns plus the North Downs in the distance. The room itself had a bay window with accompanying window seat, blinds on the windows and very grand curtains across the bay for those who need total darkness to sleep. The bathroom which had an over bath shower, wasn't huge but had a convenient shelf for all our toiletries. In the bedroom itself there was a large TV and tea and coffee making equipment, which used the same electrical socket, so no catching up with the news while you made a quick cuppa. In fact there were very few conveniently accessible electrical sockets, we had to drag the single arm chair across the room so that we could balance phones on it while they recharged from a waist high socket. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the windows easy to open for those who like a bit of fresh air to sleep. Breakfast was served in the main dining room and consisted of a buffet for the cold/continental selection, and hot stuff cooked to order. There was an opportunity for squeezing your own orange juice if desired and one of those conveyor belt toasting machines. All in all we liked Hartsfield Manor and the friendly attentive staff. We are looking forward to our next visit to see our son so that we can stay again. Collapse

We chose Hartsfield Manor for our wedding as we wanted a small intimate occasion in a grand country hotel. It was perfect for the occasion. During the planning, Helen and Isabelle were great at talking us through all the stages for the day, recommended some great suppliers and we're always quick to reply to any questions we had. On the day itself, we could not have asked for more: attentive staff who were on the ball and meant we didn't have to worry about the small things. A reception team who managed to get all guests checking in and settled before the service. Great food, all dietary requirements covered by 'proper' alternatives, and all to a very high standard and loved by all the guests. All together this meant a very happy wedding day! Collapse
