We had a great stay at the Prince Regent to avoid staying in central London with the ability to park out of London and take the tube in. Great hotel, currently undergoing refurbishment but lovely, accommodating staff and hotel will be bright and sparkly again once refurbishment complete. Lovely breakfast in comfortable surroundings to set us up for the day. Chigwell is a quieter area and took the tube from Newbury Park each day where we could park very cheap with plenty of parking available. We will be back to visit lovely London soon, our kids loved every minute. Collapse

Our room was excellent, spacious and very clean, on the first floor. We had a couple of drinks at the bar before heading out and again the bar staff were very friendly, as they were for breakfast in the morning also. A really good place to stay and very refreshing to see everybody happy and friendly. Collapse

Stayed here Monday for one night, had a great stay. Hotel room was lovely! Such a good use of the space, loved the fact the ironing board was tucked away behind a full length mirror! The bathroom was lush, the mirror was heated so didn’t get steamed up while having a shower! Bed was SO comfy and good size! It’s the little things that I loved in the room, like the amount of plugs and the potitions of them which meant I could have the hairdryer plugged in aswell as the straighteners..all close to the mirror! Some of the plug sockets had USB’s attatched aswell which was useful! Decor was really nice too, really modern! If we was coming back to the area,we would deffo stay here again and would recommend it to anyone! (There was a notice in the room and around the building about refurbishments happening so there might be noise from 8am but we didn’t hear a thing, had a lovely nights sleep!) Demi was helpful on our checkout, didn’t catch the name of the lady on our check in,but she helped us aswell(there was no loo roll when we arrived) I asked for some and it was in the room straight away!
