This is a great hotel. Very good rooms, most with a partial sea view balcony. Breakfast and evening meal buffets out of this world. A great deal of sunbeds on the lawns leading down to the sea, which is a 2 minute walk from the hotel entrance Only downside are that Brits are outnumbered 50/1 by our Teutonic friends so you need to do what they do if you want a sunbed in a decent place and put your towel on it before breakfast! Staff at the hotel are very helpful Collapse

Just got back from a 5 day break with my 17yr old daughter and we had a lovely time. I did have a few reservations before arriving which was it looks a bit dated and the pool area looked a bit small but upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised. Set right on the beach front and first impressions when walking into the lobby reception area I thought great this clean and smelt clean. The reception staff were great and helpful always saying hello and happy to help. The room was ok, small and we had an interconnecting room with next door so was a little noisey with the people coming and going and even talking but not a massive issue. We had a partial view of the sea which was still nice and looked out towards the Alcudia port in the distance. The restaurant was really good, clean and exceeded expectations, we were allocated a table so we always knew where we were sitting and no waiting around. The staff were great always friendly. The food was really good always lots of choice, meat grill and fish grill, we found the paella was really good!! The pool area was clean and a good size a stones throw from the beach. As expected you do have to get up early to get a good place for the sunbed but I wasn't too bothered about that as I'm always up early. Love the fact I had a choice of the beach or the pool. All in all I would defo book again. Though will point out the surrounding area is pretty quiet and if you want lively get a taxi to Alcudia port which is about €9. This is more for the older crowd or people with young families. Collapse

We loved this hotel .The location , the staff , the food was amazing . We said it was a four star hotel with ten star food . The rooms were lovely , but the one we had was overlooking the back of shops etc , but we were ok about it as we did n't spend much time there . The staff were so friendly and helpful . We loved Jacob and Marie Rosa as they were always so pleasant , but so were the other staff . I cannot even start to tell you about the food , and the sweets were out of this world . We were spoiled for choice . The location was just right for us as my partner has a knee injury and to just be so near to the beach was ideal . The beach snack bar was also good value with a good selection of snacks and drinks . The entertainment was ideal for the children , with quite good shows on for the adults later on .Loved it here . Fab holiday . Collapse

Just got back yesterday from this hotel having been here now twice,it's been redecorated if you want a hotel that has all you need then I can highly recommend this place.Great for children they have a children's time at night just for them for about two hours with there own shows .then it's adult time at nine the shows aren't the best you will see but at least it's watchable while your having your drink .a glass of wine or beer is about the same here in the uk 3€ For a small beer wine is about 5€ for a glass .You don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to get a sun lounger but don't leave it to late about 11 o'clock and there all gone. The food is plentiful and they have a wide range to pick from all very well cooked .What I liked about the food was hot food was hot and the salads and ice cream were cold (if you know what I mean) you pay for water 2€ for a small bottle,a bottle of wine (ask for the red Romani it's fruitie very nice) 14€. If you want a kettle you can have one free just ask at reception wi fi is now free in the hotel it's not great but it's ok.You will pay a tax for being in Spain it cost us 36€ for the fortnight for two people you have to pay this at the end of your stay so be aware as nothing was said to us about this until we got home and saw they had taken this .Also if you have a late flight and don't get in the hotel after midnight(like we did) you won't get a dinner when you leave ( I would have thought we were entitled to a dinner seeing as we didn't have a dinner offered to us on our day of arrival) anyway I could go on for ages but all I will say is you won't go far wrong if you book this hotel for your holiday enjoy. Booked through Thompson who are always good, only down side was the transfer lovely new coach with air con thank god! But sat waiting for 40 mins for other planes to land! Then over an hour drive! That's my only complaint! We visited June 12-19th I previously emailed the hotel asking for rooms next to one another as we were traveling with my parents. Arrived at reception to lovely helpful staff giving our keys and please we had interlocking rooms great. Hotel is lovely, fantastic location right on playa de muro beach. 2 nice pools that never feel over crowded as there's plenty of sun beds on the beach front. Room is fine, we had a little bed made up for my son, only downside is as a family of 3 the wardrobe space was a bit tight. Maids great always lovely and clean. On first visit to the restaurant you are assigned a table and this is yours for your stay, it makes dining in a buffet restaurant much more relaxed, special thanks to Mario our waiter who gave us great service throughout our stay. Food is excellent so tasty and serving something for everyone! Some of the best food we've had in a buffet style. The attention to the detail in the deserts was fantastic. All staff were very pleasant always had time to say ola and to talk to my son. Overall a Fantastic holiday in a great location Collapse
