After 3 days of complaining we got a slightly bigger room, still not the quadruple room that we paid for and advertised on line for 4 people, and only one plug socket. Food was very good thank goodness. Pool and area far too small for the number of guests, not enough sun beds, no childrens pool. 3 star rated hotel. This is the first time to say this about a hotel we have stayed in...... "Would never return here again" Collapse

Great place for a holiday, food is tasty and staff are very good. Can't fault hotel at all, rooms cleaned every day. The hotel runs a bus from the hotel to the beach, they also have a sister hotel down at the beach front. At this hotel they have a food area which if you are all inclusive you can eat and drink to your hearts content. It is also very close to the water park and town centre. Would definitely recommend this hotel Collapse

Just arrived back from a week of pure enjoyment, hotel very clean, food was good, offered a separate food area for gluten free which we used regularly for our daughter who has coeliacs disease. However not a huge range for her to choose from. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, always there if you needed any help, we were all inclusive and the bar offered a healthy selection of alcoholic/non alcoholic and nice cocktails. Bar snacks were on offer if asked for olives, peanuts, crisps biscuits and cakes. Ice pops and ice creams available in the pool bar too. Snack bar consisted of cheese, ham, burgers, chips, hot dogs, bread and cake, there is also salad, desserts and a hot meal option on the other side which we didn't discover until day 5. We did use the onsite Italian restaurant for lunch alot as the food was a lot nicer there but not a huge selection as in the main restaurant which we didn't mind as we had our fill in the evening and the ambience was very pleasant. Pool wasn't very big but it catered for us. No big inflatables allowed, but small rings and balls are. Downside is you have to reserve your space around the pool with plastic chairs at around 8 until the staff unlocked the sunbeds at 9am. Make sure you make you way to a rack 10 mins before. Parasols are locked away too. The animation team were always very friendly and didn't push you to get involved in the days activity, unlike some places we've been. They work really hard and long hours ensuring everyone has fun. Overall we all had a great time and would consider returning. Collapse

I stayed here for 11 days from the 31st of July & I loved it. We went all-inclusive, 4 of us went out together, 2 friends and a couple, half way through the holiday we did a swap & my sisters boyfriend came out & our friend went home. The hotel were great about this and simply swapped the bands about. I'd recommend the all-inclusive, it's worth it with free drinks & food all day. There's so many negative reviews about the hotel & I was dreading going out after reading them but the hotel is beautiful. the staff are so friendly & amazing. The pool area is small but it's not as bad as people are saying. Although if you want a sun-bed you need to go out around 7.45 to reserve your place for the day which is a bit annoying I have to admit & the sun-beds are unlocked at 9 so it's a rush then to get them & set them up for the day but once you have them it's great. We got them every morning usually on the little balcony by the pool which was really handy. The shade comes across the pool around 4 but there's still parts that are nice & sunny. there's buses to the beach daily & you can get 2 sun-beds & an umbrella for 9e and the next day it's free. The other Griego hotel is directly across the road from the beach so you can use the snack-bar there for free which is lovely. The food was really good & there's a great choice everyday. I'd strongly recommend going at non-peak times otherwise you'll be joining the Q. They've plenty of healthy choices too which was great & plenty of different types of meat. The breakfast was great especially the mornings they had pancakes. There's also a restaurant you can go to during your all inclusive stay for free & the food in there is amazing. We were on the 6th floor & had a poolside view, the hotel was quiet mostly at night, unfortunately for a few days we had extremely loud neighbours who blared their tv all night but as soon as they left it was nice & quiet again at night. Some reviews people were giving out about waiting for lift & I don't know why, they really don't take that long & if you're young & fit there's no problem climbing up them if you don't want to wait. I only watched the nighttime entertainment once & it was pretty funny the night we seen it. Everything is nearby, we went into the town most nights & there's plenty of shopping there. Its really busy at night so plenty to do although I would recommend getting the train into Benalmadena which is only €1.80 or about €15 in a taxi, there's a lot more restaurants & things to do there. I'd recommened the Griego to anyone, had a great time there, probably won't return although only because I like to go to new places every year but if I was to go back to Torremonlinos I'd stay here.
