We just spent 2 nights here on our way to NZ .We had spent a night there on a previous cruise. The hotel is exquisite It is very well maintained with beautiful rooms, lovely grounds and an excellent pool complex. The staff are most helpful and when we encountered a problem( nothing to do with hotel) Daisy and Varun at front desk were really helpful in sorting things out. We really recommend this hotel. Because it is a little out from the creek (5£ UK in taxi ) it is much more spacious and relaxed. We have travelled a lot and this hotel is one of the very best we have been in. We recommend it very highly and would hope to revisit sometime Collapse

We stayed at the Grand Hyatt for a family break. This hotel was one of many with an Emirates holiday package and we selected it because of the number of swimming pools and it’s location. We were initially disappointed at check-in as the reception said that the room only had one extra bed even though we had stated 2 adults and 2 children. It appeared that the receptionist was trying to get us to upgrade to a larger room, which we declined. In the end they willingly brought a further bed to the room and whilst is was a little bit of a squeeze, by moving the furniture we had plenty of space. After this everything got better. A big shout out to Amro, the breakfast restaurant manager who made the kids feel very special and ordered special breakfasts for them. The swimming pools are fantastic, especially the kids pool with two water slides. It was the first time we have taken the kids to a hotel with a pool and this was well supervised with many life guards. The hotel grounds are large and pleasant and the inside of the hotel has an amazing atrium with walkways and running water. The hotel is located close to a metro station which we used to get into town. A taxi drive to the main centre is only 20 minutes and about 35 Dirhams. The hotel also has a free daily minibus to the Dubai parks and the kite beach. Overall we really enjoyed staying at this excellent hotel and we would have no hesitation in coming back again. Collapse

Just returned from a fantastic week at the Grand Hyatt staying half-board in a Club room. Our bedroom and marble bathroom were massive. The Club Lounge served great breakfasts, afternoon tea, and most welcome, the Happy Hour every evening from 6pm. The views of the sunset from the Club lounge over either the Creek or downtown Dubai were amazing. Staff were very friendly and helpful - with a particular shout-out to Sherif and Marina on reception, also Ishan, the manager of The Collective restaurant. The pool area and surrounding gardens are beautifully landscaped and maintained. Whilst the hotel is not close to the Burj Khalifa area, it is only a short walk to the nearest metro station, and conveniently located for Dubai airport. Would have no hesitation in returning to this wonderful hotel. Collapse

Would definitely recommend, very family friendly stayed here for a week with two young children. Food choices are fantastic, especially the vegetarian range, pool and kids club was one of the highlights for my children I will be coming again next year to experience and enjoy this great hotel again, would like to thank joyti at check in for her friendliness and an efficient check in experience with good explanation. And finally thank Harsh at the club lounge, anything we wanted he made sure we had, if there ever was a small problem he would go out of his way to make us more than happy. Thank you very much this was our first family holiday in Dubai but due to the hotel staff and facilities it will not be the last. Collapse

Spent almost a week at the hotel with my first time in Dubai. A few comments re Dubai later but first the hotel. Arrived knackered on a early morning flight (09:00) and to my relief unlike many hotels who could not give two stuffs, I was allowed to check in within 15 minutes - great start. The hotel is also 15 mins taxi ride away which is also a Brucie bonus. Other boxes that are well and truly ticked are the spacious Creek Club rooms. Perfectly clean, fantastic views, nice big bed, huge TV screen, large spacious clean bathroom, area for storage, decent mini bar and English electric plug system. So far so good. You would have thought I haven't travelled - I have so I am as snobby and meticulous as any traveller. The facilities did not disappoint either - the swimming pool was heated outdoors and proved a nice relaxed area from the hustle of the City. In fact the outside pool was warner than the inside pool. The spa was good with good size sauna, Jacuzzi, steam and gym rooms. I Looked forward to the evening use before dinner. We are however getting to the slight areas of not so easily ticked. Breakfast in the executive lounge was ok but not the sumptuous fare found in some Malaysian hotels. Thankfully I was spared the temptation to the relief of my waistline - but that's beside the point. The evening restaurants were again ok but failed to have the wow factor. To be honest that's all ok for me as it forced me to get out and experience the delights of this wonderful City. The Peppercrab restaurant does come highly recommended if you can get past the rude and offhand young lady on this particular day taking me to my table. So Dubai - fascinating place which I could visit again and again. Taxis are cheap though you are at the mercy of Dubai traffic. Any alien watching Dubai from on high will compare the cars to ant following lines in two directions relentlessly, at speed both day and night. The metro was nearby though orientation with the hotel does take some serious getting used to. Everywhere appears safe and the metro very easy to use. So to sum it all up - I recommend this hotel - most certainly. Ticked all the boxed probably apart from the location - its not going to be buzzing outside the hotel - but you may not necessarily need it. Enjoy! Collapse
