THE VERY BEST OF PRAGUE IS IN PLZENSKA 103/21 a ! A delight ! Words cannot describe our satisfaction with this place ! A total treasure and surely a pride for the owners ! The shower is the biggest of all I have ever been in a hotel , I actually believed we we got the presidencial suite but no actually we booked a normal room . If this one looks like that I don’t want to imagine how the posh one looks . Great ! The towels super smooth , gel in the showers smells like heaven ,that bed was like sleeping in it for weeks , and the tv was huge with channels in all languages ! And then there’s the bar & restaurant and the two Czech wonders Blanka & Andreea!! Two darlings ! Amazing people ! Great skills , lovely as individuals , and super skilful with all the languages they speak dealing with all type of guests which I am sure when they visit Prague they repeat here at Hotel Golf! Smells fresh and it gives you a vibe of the Czech pride of the people here . People : go there !It really worth it !!!!!!!Lovely place ! Will be back for sure ! Collapse

I recently stayed in this hotel with my young child and can recommend it as a clean, bright and newly refurbished hotel which is fairly accessible to the city. However, I must say that my dealings with some members of the reception staff left a lot to be desired. One girl in particular was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. My child came down with a bad dose of the flu during our stay and the bedroom was stifling hot. The window would not open and I was simply told that the window had been like a that for a long time and there was nothing that could be done. After two more requests that the window be seen to, a technician was finally called and opened the window within seconds. Other things that would have me question the manner of the receptionist was her changing our money for the tram ticket machine (outside the hotel door) into the smallest coinage possible (she changed a 200 kr note into 20 kr pieces and seemed to be relishing it. ) All in all, it was enough to put myself and my travelling companions off staying in this place again. We were new to the country, travelling with a child and were refused the most basic information and assistance. If you do decide to stay in this hotel, beware of the receptionist with the red glittery false eyeslashes! Collapse

I read a lot of great reviews on this place ad wanted something affordable and closer to the airport. I didn't have plans to try and experience the amenities or services, and I didn't use any of the common spaces. The bedroom was however, disappointing, not very comfortable nor entirely clean. I did get a few hours of sleep so ....I would say my experience was average. Collapse

We chose this hotel for our birthday trip in Prague after reading the amazing reviews it has got and trust me it didn't disappoint us! We had booked a superior room with breakfast, the room was lovely and comfortable, especially the bed was very cosy & comfortable, had the best sleep on the tour! :) The bathroom was good as well with a very nice shower, and a rare but good thing that the room had another very small toilet so in case both people want to use the toilet at the same time, you can do so. :D Most of the staff was very friendly, and as with most other hotels in Prague you can buy the local transport tickets at the reception. The breakfast buffet spread was very good, even for us vegetarians. The only thing the breakfast area gets really crowded at peak times and then one of you has to keep the table always, the moment you leave the table empty for a few seconds, its gone! :P This is a bit far from the city but we didn't feel any problem because of that, the tram stop is just opposite the hotel and for just 5-10 minutes of extra travel, you are getting such a good hotel with reasonable price for its standards is a great deal. Only thing if you are looking for some nearby market or restaurant, there is none. You have to take the tram to some nearby marketplace. We usually would come back after dinner only, so we didn't feel any issues in this regard. In summary, highly recommended and would definitely come back if got a chance. Collapse
