Rooms were fine, quite old fashion but clean and comfortable. We had a one bed apartment so had tons of space which was a bonus, we were on the road side but never heard any noise from outside. The constant moving of furniture from the rooms above and below does get annoying in the morning and crying babies but that's down to the thin walls. The food was pretty average, certainly not the worst I've had, lots of fish and pasta every day, breakfast was quite a good selection too. We always found something to eat. The only bar open in the day time was the pool/ entertainment bar, it was extremely hot so would of been nice to of been able to sit inside. Beer and soft drinks are self service so you can get them at the other bar all day but no spirits and cocktails. The entertainment was some of the best i've seen at hotels abroad to be honest, it was pretty good each night. one night they had a local band and they were really good and were impressed. Bad points There is no parking at this hotel, parking was quite difficult as nearly everywhere was 1 hours max most of the day. First night we drove around for 30 mion looking for a parking space. No free wifi despite advertising its free in the reception. We had to pay for room tax for 4 people even though we were only 2 in a 1 bed apartment! Collapse
Another great stay

I'm a little bit late in posting this however really wanted to leave some feedback so here goes… Me and my partner have visited Ariel Chico twice over the last three years initially with our eldest daughter and more recently with our new arrival. We returned to Ariel Chico because we knew it was a safe bet as we had a great stay last time and again we weren’t disappointed. Firstly Ariel Chico is a fantastic place to bring your children, there’s a plenty to do both in the hotel through their kids club, many pools, play areas and mini disco, also in the surrounding area beaches, fun park with trampolines, bouncy castles just 2 mins up the road and a huge gaming arcade 2 mins in the opposite direction and the list goes on. Food: For me the food was to a very good standard three times a day and always varied and included many fresh selections as I practically lived on fresh fruit for two weeks. In order to accommodate for fussy eaters we rarely struggled as there was something for everyone three times a day. The snack bar by the entertainment area was mostly fried foods and chips etc which we didn’t use that much. Beer, cocktails, spirits, fizzy drinks, coffee, tea, water & juice on tap all day (8am until 11pm). Room: as you may have read in previous reviews these are basic rooms, we had an apartment and whilst we were there couldn’t really complain. Big TV for Cbeebies as and when it was needed and a kitchen area to keep all our amenities for the baby, Reception was happy to provide us with a microwave for heating bottles on an evening. We had an apartment next to the table tennis & volleyball courts and really liked it, there’s a massive lawn for the kids to run around and generally just pretty grounds, trees plants etc, early mornings and late evenings would provide different aspects of local wildlife through beetles and birds to gecko’s which me and my daughter loved. Only negative was the air-con. This was fed through a joint vent for both rooms, there was a switch on the wall but through the most part was purely decorative, from what we gathered the air-con came on through the day between 12-2pm and again at 22.30pm for the duration of the night. You could switch it off however couldn’t control switching it on throughout the day as and when. I’ve no idea why this was the case but fortunately we rarely used the room so it wasn’t an issue for us. The reason I write this is because I’m the type of person who immediately looks for the air-con remote as soon as we enter our room/apartment and on this occasion I couldn’t find it. If anything I think it’s down to the fact I wasn’t in control of the air-con rather than the air-con itself. My highest praise has to go to the staff, each and every one of them worked tirelessly and they’re always very friendly and approachable, personally I built a very good rapport with many of them. I’ve read some reviews stating this wasn’t the case so I would ask people to take things at face value first, I saw people working 6 days a week 10-11 hours each day and still smiling and happy to have a laugh. You be the judge. Entertainment: Due to our children’s ages we couldn’t take part in much of the evening entertainment however we enjoyed the mini disco and managed to catch some performances from the entertainment crew. Throughout the day they would try and engage everyone as best as they could through aqua gym, volleyball, water polo, mini golf, table tennis etc. A thankless task really but for those that take part (and win) they get recognition for their efforts later throughout the entertainment proceedings. People are literally forced to clap Claus from Heerenveen because he beat some kids at table tennis haha (this actually happened so congratulations Claus). Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to families wanting to stay in Majorca. Either for a stay in the hotel grounds or for a out and explore holiday, there’s something for you to get involved in. Collapse

Stayed here with my husband, daughter her partner and granddaughter who is nearly three. Everything was spot on, rooms were cleaned each day. We were all inclusive, the food... wow, what a choice. My husband loved the fish, told him to fill his boots as I don't let him have it at home very often....not a lover of fish myself. Plenty of salad stuff to choose from, usually a couple of meats, pasta. Plenty there to suite the different nationalities. We had an end of row apartment so was big, my daughter was next door. The only niggle I would have is the bathroom was off the bedroom, no problem for us but if others were sleeping in the living room and needed to go to the loo during the night it would disturb those in the bedroom. Staff were friendly and courteous. Pool areas were clean and plenty of sun beds. The evening entertainment could be improved, but no way would this stop us going back next year. Waiting for them to open bookings for next year. ☀️ Collapse

Returned from our 4th visit today, gutted to say it will be our last.. arrived 11.30pm, got to our room, ants ants ,ants. reception couldn't give a toss, just given ant spray, He didn't seem to fussed about not having a cot in the room for our 10month old either, he did managed to get us a old travel cot, with no mattress/bedding...so we doubled up in the single beds! We swapped rooms within our group....more ants, lots of them...discussing. Every day spraying to kill an trying to keep them away. Kids had to stay on beds at all times, making sure nothing was left on the floor..shame really because our last 3 visits have been good staying here. It's ruined our stay. 3 good holidays here,so took 13 family members back for a 4th and last visit. Shame really as the location is really great, food, pool etc all nice, just felt no staff was willing to help with our room situation. Collapse

We have just returned from 10 days at this resort and had the best time. We were two families each with a baby and a 4 year old. We had requested ground floor apartments next to each other and whilst this wasn't what we had when we arrived, it was sorted within 2 hours of being there by the reception staff. The hotel itself is located in a perfect position, shops on doorstep and beach a few minutes walk away. We only used the main pool and kids pool because that's what suited us and the kids loved it!! Obviously busy and a bit noisy but this is what we were happy with and there were other pools in the resort much quieter so something to suit everyone. The restaurant was always fully stocked and the staff worked tirelessly to clear tables ready for the next lot! All so friendly and great with the kids. Cleaners did a great job on the apartments but wish they had come in every day as I still felt I was cleaning and tidying on the days they weren't there which you really want to get away from on holiday! Clean towels every day (if you asked for them early at reception) so not a major complaint. The animation team were superb! They worked hard day and night, running the kids club twice a day (my 4 year old loved it!! And it was a great way to break up his day from the beach or pool time) you felt they were in safe hands too and just around the corner playing in a safe environment where you could go and check on them as much as you liked. Kids disco was 8.30-9 and our kids joined in every night again mainly because of the hard work from the animation team who kept them interested! And the evening entertainment was cheesy but fantastic! We laughed every night which is the main thing! Special mentions for Kayla and Christina whose personalities are infectious and they were fabulous with the kids and on the stage in the evenings. But all the staff seemed to work really hard. We met a lot of people that have been there before and who will be going back again as will we. Big thumbs up from us. Collapse
