Thanks to Connor for such a great recommendation of the hotel's restaurant which we will visit soon and also Cornwall in general. Lovely service. Collapse

Fantastic couple of days, even tried to stay longer it was so good. Very dog and children friendly. Dog owners have own dining room still with lovely views and tables laid as exquisitely as in the main restaurant, but with dog blanket by your side. Food delicious, good choice and they are helpful if you have a limited diet. We had a lovely large room with door to the grass where you could sit on a lounger gazing at the sea. Spa too, they don’t do gel nails but this is the first time normal nail polish has lasted without chipping for almost a week. Bathroom very spacious Dog appreciated the large bowls and dog treats and ball Pleasant walk down into Fowey and if we had timed it better the bus would have brought us up again. Lovely place to go for a real chill out as parking although available can be limited at times, especially when cream teas are served. Although we found space while we were there. Service very good, just a bit slower outside where they bring your drinks to you (they do not have an actual bar). We are looking for next opportunity to visit again. Our room was modern and didn’t notice any signs of aged decor or maintenance required. Biscuits in the room each morning were scrummy too and noticed last morning there was orange juice satchels to flavour the water that was left. Fridge also in room. We also left our Apple charging lead which they contacted to advise us and posted on. Childcare centre on site and babysitting can be booked, our room had baby alarm in it too. Wellies, fishing nets etc available too by the main door for tots Highly recommend Collapse

Spent a couple of nights here as a last minute break with our toddler. We stayed in a family courtyard room which was spacious with a separate bedroom for children and a large bathroom with separate bath and shower. The room was worn in places admittedly but nothing too serious and what it lacked in general upkeep it made up for in space. The other great thing about the courtyard rooms was that they were immediately opposite the crèche on site and they kindly left out outdoor toys for the children all day/eve - a big win with our toddler. From the moment we arrived, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were without exception friendly, helpful and made a fuss of our little one. The children’s play area was perfect for a range of ages and conveniently positioned for pre dinner drinks for the parents and the addition of the little fairy houses all over the garden kept our little one amused for hours. There were toys and books throughout the property, perfect for a rainy day. The food was all of an excellent standard with a huge range of children’s options and the relaxed family dining was ideal. Overall, a lovely couple of days in a true family hotel. Collapse

Location and the house itself have the wow factor. Stumbled upon it as a last minute extension to our holiday not realising how well adapted this place is for families. From the JOJO wellies at the entrance to the cinema and games rooms, IKEA highchairs and the unlimited pool use for kids, they have thought of everything. Staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Had a fantastic room huge, ground floor with patio doors to the terrace and sea views. Kingside bed and best rainhead shower, Elemis spa products. Spa has an outdoor jacuzzi and lovely indoor pool. We had prosecco and coffees outside our room which was brought by the lovely staff and watched the sun go down over the sea from our loungers, the bats and the moon rise. Total bliss. Breakfast was great lots of choice for adults and children. Fantastic play area for our toddler with zip wire, trampoline and boat, we explored the garden and found the fairy boats. Creche was easy to use and our little boy had no issues settling in whilst we used the spa for a few hours. One thing we had when we stayed at calcot manor were pager/vibrating callers which the creshe could use to summon you even if by the pool. This would be a good addition by Fowey Hall to give you confidence and reassurance leaving your wee ones with the creche. Had afternoon tea which was luscious but would have liked a glass of something sparkling for the price but it was delicious. We will be back next time book a few nights!! Thanks Fowey Hall for a great time. Collapse

Had a full cream tea for two. It arrived superbly presented, and tasted even better. The scones are amazing. We were offered so many choices for the yes slicked one at random and Had a result. Will definitely go back.
