We cannot honestly say that this was the bst break we have had for a very long time. It’s not often we sing the praise without something minor but this hotel was faultless The hotel felt like home, the entrance had a fire burning The staff were delightful and felt like old friends even though this was the first visit The food was excellent The room clean and the bed soooo comfortable! It was all in all a memorable stay and we are planning in coming back in September This is a place we wish we had come across when our children were young as I know that we would have had menu memorable holidays It seems that they cater for everyone from families, couples with dogs and just couples and everyone from the staff and guests smiled all the time. Thank you Fowey Hall and all your staff Collapse

We booked a fantastic spa deal with travel zoo and a great price at £45. Blessed with beautiful weather we enjoyed sitting on the sun loungers and the view from the hot tub was really stunning. The ladies in the spa were polite and friendly. They kindly ordered us refreshments from the hotel to enjoy on the terrace, which has the most fantastic view of the sea! Myself and my friend both enjoyed a 55min treatment with therapist, Sophie. Came away feeling very relaxed and couldn't fault the service. Included in the deal we had a cream tea for two. The scones were delicious and freshly baked. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nothing was to much trouble. The hotel and spa was beautifully decorated, clean and everyone was more than happy to help. Highly recommend Fowey Hall hotel and Spa and look forward to my next visit. Collapse

Gorgeous hotel, the lounge area has an open fire lots of sofas. We didn't eat here in the evening but it seemed there was a child friendly area and a candlelit adult area. We had the Sabina room which was in the newer section. Very spacious and fitted out in a period style in keeping with the hotel. It has patio doors on to the garden which means it's not very private but great for family as it overlooks the zip wire etc. Really comfy super king bed. Bathroom was very well done with freestanding bath and great shower. The spa was disappointing an average size pool and outdoor jacuzzi which overlooks the sea but cold as no robes provided. No availability for treatments whilst we were there so probably book in advance. Very good breakfast. Some of the views probably have fantastic views. It's at the top of the hill so be prepared for a bit of a steep walk back from town but there is s cheap bus service that runs every 15 mins from the town centre. Collapse

We decided on a last minute trip to Cornwall and I chose Fowey Hall based upon a previous recommendation from a friend who likes upmarket hotels. We booked through Expedia, which we thought we were getting a competitive deal, booking was simple and we arrived Easter Monday. The location is stunning, and on a clear day it’s beautiful! We took our dogs, the charge £15 per dog However I’m still confused ♀️ as to what the actual charge was for... Considered a dog friendly hotel, there was a thin blanket for two rather large dogs and when I asked for dog treats, nothing was available ?!! How much would it cost to provide a little treat for our furry friends?!! The Hotel itself is lovely, and themed for Easter but the biggest issue is the smoke that passes through the whole of the lounge area which cannot be ignored!! We sat there with a Gin cocktail £12.50 and after half an hour we had to leave due to the smoke from the fires causing irritation to our eyes and chest. When challenged, the staff simply replied.. ‘it is what it is’! Only a shower would rid the smoke from our hair and skin. The spa is lovely, and we were lucky to experience this on a sunny day sitting outside. On the whole we were slightly disappointed, great venue, but lacking in facilitating dogs and overall overpriced for what it was. The menu is restricted and they add a service charge of 10% ... even for a bread order!! Luckily we love Fowey! Collapse

What a fabulous location over looking the estuary, and a Lovely building. The staff were fantastic and the food excellent, rooms very spacious and clean with fantastic view. Added bonus is that they cater for dogs infact make them extremely welcome. Have Spa facilities which looked nice but we didn’t use. This is a very dog and children friendly hotel I think they even have a club for children. The town of Fowey is very quaint with lots of little shops. You can even get the little ferry boat across the water. Nothing negative to say had a wonderful stay and will definitely be going back . Collapse
