So I have given this hotel 2 stars and that's only because the room was ok and cleaned daily. The reception staff were good enough helped where possible and the staff behind the bar friendly enough but that's basically where this niceness stops. I've been coming to Benidorm for years on and off but due to meeting a new partner that has kids changed the time of year and the expense of it. Anyway the hotel is clean but the rooms do need massive attention they are dated and you couldn't even use a hair dryer in our room or it tripped the electrics out so we ended up having to borrow the hotels which was a small not great travel one. The food wasn't great and if you want to be healthy don't bother I like going to the gym but with the little choice available unless you want fish that tasted horrible and well that was about it the salad was the same everyday and was boring you couldn't really make a healthy meal from the salad as they never did chicken breast or beef join it was processed beef so full of salt and tasted funny and full of fat. The breakfast was the same everyday no real healthy option all you could eat was fruit and you can't fill up on that every day. No we went AI wow so everything outside the drink you paid for ?? So you wanted an ice cream round the pool 3 euro, you wanted a slushy 3 euro! Even the gym was you guessed it 3 euro made you laugh after a while however they can call themselves a AI hotel is beyond me because if you work it out for a family of 4 that may like the odd ice cream, slushy and maybe a few of the family members would hit the gym you'd be looking for a week another 100 or so Euros it's crazy The entertainment was well not for the faint of hearted people it's pathetic no kids club no small arcade for them to blow steam off nothing I've never seen anything like it If you were Spanish they bent over backwards for you if your English they help when they can and this shows in the food hall if it's busy they will clean the tables and sit the Spanish straight down if ur English just sit and wait until they are ready for you If I were English looking for a fun hotel and to enjoy it I really would give this a miss don't make the mistake I did as this cost me 2800 AI (but it's not really AI) the only enjoyment was stepping out the hotel but even then it's a good walk to get to any real decent shops or food places I'd avoid but it's your money guys enter at your own risk Thanks Collapse

Stayed at the Port Fiesta Park from the 8th to the 18th July 2017. At first we were put into a room which was more of a single room and not that for four people, the balcony couldn't even hold four people and the bathroom was horrendous with a glass panel right adjacent to toilet which was part of the shower which I would say was not only dangerous for kids (hazardous) but was a health and safety issue, as it seemed with the bathroom in this room they tried to squeeze a toilet and shower into the smallest space there wasn't even anywhere to put toiletries. Also the four beds where squeezed together and the floor space you couldn't even wheel your suitcase on as there was no space. Upon going to reception I was told all rooms were standard size which I knew not to be true and they were ful,l but was just fobbed off twice by the same receptionist. Third time lucky I went down again as the receptionist Hector was more helpful and told me to come back the next morning which eventually we got a room in the afternoon after wasting the whole day we got in to a much bigger better room. I have to say thank-you to Hector. The food was average you could always find something to eat, Pizza chips fish chicken pasta various vegetables and potatoes done various ways plenty of salads etc and ice-cream and desserts for kids. The maids did a marvellous job and the hotel itself was very clean. I have stayed in Benidorm before and found the biggest downfall of the hotel was there was no kids club and the nightlife I have never experienced before DOES NOT cater for any English person now don't get me wrong I enjoy different cultures and enjoyed the Spanish music and dancing but think it should be more evenly distributed out. This in turn was a big downfall as the nightlife is a big part of your holiday and your kids and I would not return to this hotel because of this. The hotel itself is just about ten mins walk from the old town in a residential area which has plenty of shops and eateries and there is a mc donalds there. There is a great tapas bar there called Gambrinus which serves great cold beer from the tap and the staff are lovely we visit it every time were in Benidorm. Collapse

Overall the hotel is clean and tidy maid come everyday to clean the room all staff friendly and polite Food Breakfast plenty of choice of fried breakfast cereal with warm milk fruit and bread Lunch and dinner a good choice of English and Spanish food different meals everyday Even though there is a sign by the pool saying you cannot reserve a chair people stand by the gate at 9 o'clock towels in hand hand to get a chair after that it's hard to get one entertainment was all for the Spanish guests My one complaint is that entertainment goes on past 11 p.m. The inclusive bar stops so if you want to carry on drinking you have to pay It's located about 10 minute walk to the beach and about 20 minutes to the main shopping area and ahalf an hour away from the main strip I will come back to Benidorm but not back to this hotel as it's not really a hotel for English people Collapse
Wouldn't let my dog stay here

We arrived Sunday the 23rd July, shocked at the staff at reception...not a warm welcome and seemed like we wasn't welcome. We were given the key to our room (227) and it was disgusting, mould all round the shower and felt dirtt even using the shower, air con smelt like rotten eggs and could only be uaed between 10 and 2 anyway, the wall was saturated with water and room was damp which made the bedding feel damp. The food was DISGUSTING, all reheated crap and whatever we had the night before you were sure u had it for lunch the next day. My husband was really ill from the sausages that were serves, we knew they were the cause as I didn't touch them and wasn't sick. The pool and sunbeds does not come close to the capacity of the hotel and could never get a sun bed unless you we're down there at 8 claiming them. The entertainment was poor quality and all inclusive stops at 11 so have to pay for drinks. I really don't write reviews or tend to moan as like to make the most of every situation, but having returned today from the port fiesta park, I couldn't help but come on here and complain. I really would advise, that if you wanted a good hotel and holiday then this hotel is NOT for you. From start to finish it was terrible and would NEVER go back or recommend this place. It's a horrible place with horrible, grumpy staff. Collapse

Arrived 22nd a bit worried due to reviews, these were completely unfounded. Rooms are basic but clean, beds and towels changed every day. Food on all inclusive very good, something for everyone, would advise to have main meal at lunch time as found to be a better menu, evening meal tends to have a lot of fish. Drinks are good although cocktails are from a machine so not authentic. True there are lots of Spanish but this is their vacation time so what do you expect? Would I visit again? Yes in a shot, fitted our needs perfectly Collapse
