This hotel is situated in a perfect local. Right across the road from loads of shops and bars. Walk to the bottom of the hill then turn left and over the bridge for loads more shops etc. Food was good although could sometimes be a bit cold. Snacks are leftovers from previous meal. Maids were pretty good too. Hotel itself wasn't very nice but that's just my opinion. Not for the disabled as you have quite a few steps to go down to get to the restaurant. Would go back to Benidorm but not this hotel Collapse

Previous views are accurate, 99% of the hotels guests are elderly Spanish people. Absolutely no problem with this, great if you want a quiet break however did find some of them to come across a bit rude and ignorant but nothing too dramatic. Hotel is on the quieter side of Benidorm, however we managed to have a few nights out on the 'strip' and the walk home is only around 20 minutes. Hotel it's self is basic, a little outdated however we went into some friends we met room and there's was decorated to a very modern standard so I presume they're slowly renovating all the rooms. Food wise, sensitive subject. My mum got food poisoned as did 3 people we met. I thought I'd be a trooper and carry on eating everything that was provided to me and after a week I thought I was maybe immune but ohhh noooo on the last night I spent the night being sick (a rare occasion for me) the next day we was traveling to a different part of Spain and although the sickness had stopped as there was nothing left in my stomach, my whole body was achy and I spent the whole day and night in bed. So I'm just advising you's to be a bit cautious with your food choices. Staff all very friendly apart from on one occasion! I went down to breakfast at 10-10 which finishes at 10 o clock however there was still food available. I dished my plate up was about to sit down and a lady worker came over and basically refused to let me eat. After about a minute of awkwardness she finished her paddy and reluctantly laid out a table for me. Very bizzare. Better than the food going to waste! Other than the food incidents had a very pleasant stay at the hotel. Not for the party goers, you need to stay more North above the coast. Collapse

Our first trip to Benidorm and I was very weary after reading reviews about this hotel. We had our young son and grandson with us. Our check in early hours was quick and simple- we were give 3rd floor apartment but there are two lifts so this was no issue for us. As we hadnt eaten since early evening we dropped off cases in room and went to ask if there was anywhere open- thankfully there was a pizza/kebab shop open 5 min walk away and a bp garage for us to get drinks. Directions given by reception were clear and helpful. Our room was a little on the small side- double was two twin pushed together but we have found this in most hotel/apartments in the EU and a set of bunk beds directly opposite so there is little privacy. We overlooked the pool to the left and the mountain to the right. Most nights i woke due to the road noise but think this is more to do with us living in the country so we dont normally hear road noise rather than it being a super busy road. Breakfast- I really can not understand why people on here have moaned, it was constantly being replemished and there was lots of variety- something for everyone. Entertainment- Yes in spanish but your in Spain- you dont go to Butlins in England and expect them to talk spanish/German for those guests so whats the difference? The first two nights were really good acts - magic etc for the kids but after these nights it was spanish disco and line dancing every night. However our boys met spanish friends and asked to go back to hotel rather than other bars each night- there is a pool table too. Drinks were cheap 9 euro a bottle of wine. The outside pool- We didnt really see many people in it as it was really cold water - our boys braved it first two days which were hot days but came out shivering however we are only in April and I'm sure in hotter months it is warmer from the sun. Lots of sun loungers around too. The pool is a little small so could see this being a issue had we been at the hotel in summer holidays. I loved that there was no glass allowed round pool area and plastic cups are even provided on a table by the pool. Inside pool- is a gem- hidden away on 5th floor- we used this after first two days- it was not as heated as expected and one spanish guy did speak to a staff member who came up to check the temp the next day it was slightly warmer. Don't think oh inside cant sunbath like we did- theres a outside area with sun loungers. Cleaners- We requested our room to be cleaned three times one cleaner asked if we wanted bedding changed which we said yes but this was the only time it was changed- we keep room to a reasonable standard when away so there really is not lots to do but I wonder exactly what was done- we would throw our beds over each day but on the cleans these were never made properly when we returned and stuff in bathroom would be exactly where we left- cleaning of rooms is a issue whilst your in them. Guests- yes mainly elder Spanish you get a few who stick their noses up but mostly very nice and had time for the kids always giving a smile and trying to talk to them even when they realised we could not speak Spanish. We met several other english families during our stay- a few had gone all inclusive and they said dinners were good- variety and nice. Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach- 10 min to town centre and plenty of shops all round. Theres a supermarket on the corner - actually looks closed down but it is open. We were lucky enough to keep our room later for the extra 30 euro and had a 6pm departure- we then left our luggage in a locked luggage room until our transfer bus at 8.30pm. Staff on reception helpful on giving advise on buses to places too. Had I made my mind up on TA reviews alone I would not have stayed here- I am glad we made our own decision- a nice hotel not too far out with lots around. Ideally more could be done for the kids but ours were happy enough- and during day there is certain things on and this starts at 4.30 - line dance class- board games etc - we never tried this so cant comment. Would we stay again yes we would! Thanks Park Fiesta :) Collapse

I have just come come back from a 5 day stay. God location 10 minutes walk from the beach. If you would like to visit the english square its roughly 10 minutes in a taxi, costing around 7/8 euros. But if just wanting a quiet drink the beach has some lovely bars opposite the sea. The hotel is clean, the hotel staff were lovely very helpful, never a queue for drinks at the bar and the restaurant food is nice, always something to eat. The only downfall was the walls are so thin i had to listen to snoring and coughing from the neighbours every night and it did keep me awake, worse that lying next to your partner. It is a very spanish hotel and they do try and take over pushing in and very loud. We were all inclusive and i would advice half board as it is the older older spanish generation doing the walz and the fox trot all night every night so it is very difficult to sit there, so we did have to pay to go elsewhere every night.
