This review is purely for the accommodation element of the hotel stay, you will need to read my (not for the fainted hearted) review of the restaurant separately. We stayed at the hotel for one night prior to a 3 night 4 day stay at Disneyland and in all honesty cannot fault the cleanliness of the hotel and room or the general condition of the building. Our room was spotlessly clean and fairly spacious, the beds were very comfortable and having a choice of pillows was an added bonus, the bed linen was fresh and you could easily imagine that it had never been used before. The hotel staff are friendly and the complex certainly has the feel of a 4 star establishment. The only negative to our stay was the catering which I’ll review separately. To surmise we would be happy to stay here again but on a room only basis. Collapse

Booked directly (via mail) at the hotel for a nice price, breakfast and parking included. Convenient located, many restaurants and (grocery) shops in the area. Free bus to Disneyland, stop accros the street. Breakfast was from very good quality! Crowed and busy, but everything was refilled quiet quickly. No remarks about the room/bathroom, everything perfect. Would definitely recommend this hotel! Collapse

Poor for a Disney partner hotel given that there was next to no facilities dedicated to entertaining the kids. We’ve stayed at Explorers and on site at Disney and this hotel offers nothing in terms of a pool, a play area, video games, English language cartoons that we would expect from Disney. For myself the restaurant was over priced, there was no gym, I’d to buy my own milk, coffee and water and they didn’t even have the football on Canal + despite it being on in the bar at reception. If you are a couple visiting Disney looking somewhere clean and quiet to rest after a day at the parks, it does bed and breakfast very well, there’s a free bus to the parks and you’re beside the hypermarket Auchan Val d’Europe for your drink. If On site Disney is M&S, I would equate this place with Tesco value. Not the worst place I’ve stayed in but a far cry from on site Disney or Mercure Tour Eiffel where we stayed on our last 2 trips to Paris. Collapse

We booked this hotel for our 5 night stay before extending for another 2 nights due to a change in our travel plan. First of all, we booked this hotel using Trip Advisor and the amount quoted was in SGD. It was an advance payment with no cancellation option. However, when I checked my credit card bill after the booking, to my horror, I was billed in EURO for that exact same amount. This cost me 1.65 times more that what I was suppose to pay based on my booking confirmation. I immediately contacted the hotel to inform them of the mistake and attached my booking confirmation that clearly stated the amount that will be charged is in SGD. It took them a few days to get back to us. We were so panicked that we contacted Trip Advisor when we didn’t heard from them. I even asked my fiancée who is in Singapore to help me called Trip Advisor office as I’m already in Europe and calling would mean a big bomb to my phone bill. However after giving all the details needed by Trip Advisor office to do the checking, their reply is quite disappointing. We were informed that there is nothing they can do and that we have to deal directly with the hotel. I sent another email to follow up on the payment. In the reply from the reservation office, it was mentioned that there was indeed an error in their system and we were charged in the wrong currency and they promised to refund me in EURO based on their hotel conversion rate. This effectively meant that we are losing out on foreign exchange as we were supposed to be charged in SGD based on the amount quoted in TA website. Point to the hotel - You should bill your customer what you showed in your booking confirmation and not happily converted it as and when you feel like it. Since our booking is non refundable, I guess there is nothing much we can do about it. So we proceeded with our booking to avoid further dispute and damages to the pocket. Upon our arrival, I checked with the receptionist again and he promised that the refund was already in progress. There wasn’t a single indication of apology from them at all. To date, it has been 10 days since the receipt of the email but I have yet to see a refund reflected in my online banking on the agreed EURO amount. What we can do is pray that they will refund us the amount. Today before my check out, I asked the reception about the refund again and has been informed that it sometimes takes months before it can be completed. I asked for a credit note or any document that they can provide me to prove for the refund and they told me that their booking team is not the office and they do not have access to the system and promises that she will email me later. As we have to catch our train to Venice, there is little that we can do for now. Second on the hotel condition - we stayed at the premium room on level 4, room was spacious and clean. Third on Housekeeping: water was not being refilled everyday. Out of 7 nights, we have to ask for our complimentary water to be replenished for 3 days. Dirty bathrobe was taken away on day three and never being placed back. Conclusion, the hotel is okay if you only need a place to rest after Disneyland or shopping from the designer village. Don’t expect any hospitality from the hotel staff. Collapse

I’ve read all reviews before decide booking Hotel l’Elysee and was glad we made the right choice. Location is perfect, right across the street of a great mall, train station and a big outlet with lots of great stores. Shuttle to Disney stopped in front of the hotel every 15 minutes. We stayed 2 nights. Clean and spacious room, recently renovated. We had a very good meal at the hotel restaurant. It was just perfect! Collapse
