Fantastic hotel and totally worth its 5 stars. Breakfast was brill with loads of choice and big blocks of chocolate...bliss. Room was massive with heated bathroom floor, loads of wardrobe and drawer space plus tea and coffee machine. Superb value. Tip is to buy a Bruges visit card at the train station, we got a 48 hour pass for 47 euros each and definitely saved on the entrance fees. Collapse

Shame that the lift was being renovated on the day of our departure was the only downside. Excellent, excellent, excellent. Collapse

The Duke’s Palace is nothing short of extraordinary. The supreme level of luxury is to die for – the plush furniture, the spacious rooms, the comfy bed and the modern facilities are all of the very highest order. The bathroom was so big, I could have easily had a party in there. Bruges itself is, of course, the star attraction – the pretty medieval town is primed for exploring from this centrally located hotel. The vibrant Market Square is a mere 5 minute walk away. The hotel’s breakfast was quite easily the best I’ve ever had; an extensive buffet of high quality foods, don’t miss the Belgian chocolate and Cava – surely the only way to set yourself up for the day. Staying in the five star luxury of this hotel felt very decadent indeed – I’d return in a heartbeat, and thoroughly recommend it for an extra-special stay in beautiful Bruges. Collapse

We stayed at this hotel over Easter and it was practically perfect for us. Central location just a few minutes walk from the main square. There is parking (extra charge) on site which was very useful. Very helpful staff and nice large room with all the usual amenities. We didn't eat at the hotel but did use the bar which we thought was excellent and very reasonably priced for a city centre hotel. There is a lovely garden at the rear of the hotel, sadly it was not warm enough to use at Easter but I would imagine would be great in the summer months - we'll just have to return! Collapse

Stayed here for 3 nights in a standard but very comfortable well equipped and quiet garden facing room. Hotel staff are consummate professionals from reception to bar to cleaning and Waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast is fantastic! Everything you could possibly want even chocolate. We used the spa facilities every day and after walking around beautiful Bruges a steam and sauna was most relaxing. I booked the additional romantic package as a surprise for my husbands birthday and asked the hotel to provide some Belgian beer too which they did with matching beer glasses and a personal message from the hotel which was a lovely touch. Truly one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at, we will be back one day for sure. Collapse

While this hotel was close to everything, it was nicely hidden in an alley. Beautiful hotel and great service. We regret not eating at hotel and having a drink. Hope to be back for that. Only 5 star hotel in Bruges.
