We stayed at Drayton manor last night 10th May 2018. When we arrived it was quiet, the hotel entrance was nice and clean, it had a few people statues from Thomas series, a little train in a glass cabinet that you pushed a button to make go round and a couple of Thomas trains the kids could sit on, you know the ones you put £1 in. My kids loved it all, the staff were friendly and helpful and our room was really early. We had a room with 2 double beds, it was lovely and clean, had a bath perfect for the kids and a bath Mat, there was a welcome Thomas bag on the bed for my son, which was a lovely touch! and a fridge for our use that we used for sandwiches and snacks. The hotel provided us with warm milk for the kids at bed time (we just asked at the bar) and the bar is open 24 hours so they said we could get milk anytime we needed, 5am was our next wake up call. The biggest breakfast was nice, oh and they have a little train table (wooden one for wooden trains, take your own trains) in the restaurant in the evening and moved it into where we had breakfast in the morning, the food was nice, nothing too glad but nice. Every member of staff was friendly and helpful, they have a little arcade with a few machines perfect for the kids oh and on every floor they have giant faces of the engines, we loved going to each floor to see who was there. It’s a lovely hotel and very well catered for children which was perfect for us as we had a 1 and 3 year old. I highly recommend it. Thomas land was brilliant too, and just a short walk or drive from hotel. We walked it on the first day and drove on the second. Collapse

Staying here tonight for 1 night with my mam, little boy and baby girl...it's such a good hotel I couldn't Wait until I got home to write a review so I'm doing it from my room. Check in smooth and earlier than expected. Staff really friendly and so helpful. Booked a family deluxe. Has 3l2 double beds plenty of room for us all, a fridge, kettle, iron, hairdryer and a list of items you can request for free if forgotten which is such a lovely touch. Went down to bar it's spotless and well stocked. Restaurant is amazing and we ordered room service which was prompt and the food was Devine! It is ideal for trips to drayton manor as you walk across the car park and you are there. Would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it. Collapse

I booked Thomas themed room for my sons 3rd birthday. He is crazy about Thomas and friends, so Thomasland and a themed room seemed ideal. After checking in at 3pm i went straight to the room to put a few presents and some balloons up, so when my little one walks in, its a super surprise! As soon as i walked in, my heart sank!!! The room was so small and very dissapointing.... i was in a shock that i spent best part of £300 for a room and 2 day park ticket, to stay in this tiny, claustrophobic room???? I tried ringing the reception, phone didnt work, so i walked back to the reception to beg for a better room! Very kind receptionist told me that there are different packages for themed rooms (which i didnt know, i booked "stay and play themed room") and that i didnt book a larger room, but as they had a free room, they would move us. I was relieved. As soon as i walked in the other room, i was happy, it was spacious and light! Looked superb! My little one enjoyed his surprise and all of us had a great time, both in the hotel and in the park itself. Why not 5 stars? All staff were pleasant and hotel seemed clean and modern, but theres no attention to detail. I stayed in many, many hotels for my birthdays, or friends/families birthday, and majority of hotels acknowledge someones birthday, not in this hotel. Dvd player on the bunk bed was temperamental, didnt always work! Character breakfast and childrens entertainment is only on the weekends, not everyones birthday/special day is on a weekend. Shop only opens for busy morning/evening periods as people are going to the park or coming back. Also, hotel playground could be a lot better, considering so many families stay here for Drayton Manor. Also, I would worry about getting an "economy" rather than a "luxury" themed room if i booked again.... Collapse

Stayed in a Thomas themed room for my sons b’day after going in to the park in the day. Hotel is clean and quirky however my wife went to fill the rooms kettle up with water and noticed mold growing in the bottom of the kettle, I rang through to reception to ask for a replacement and within 10 minutes another kettle was delivered, the replacement kettle also had mold in it, I managed to catch the staff member before she made it back down the corridor and she took the second kettle away for 25 minutes, third time round a clean kettle was delivered ( which we boiled 3 times changing the water before each boil before before making a coffee) The food in the restaurant was fairly good but the service was absolutely terrible, the staff got our order wrong and I had to ask twice for another drink which didn’t turn up but was on our bill :-( I actually went to the bar to get the drink as I got sick of waiting for it. Breakfast was good, however the waiter asked if we’d like tea/coffee, he brought a pot of coffee but failed to return with 2 cups, I had to go and find a member of staff to get some after 15 mins. Paid £280 for 1 room with breakfast and 2 adult 2 kids park passes, so you’d expect the hotel to be a little better when the hotel cost was £200 Collapse
