Hotel was clean and well maintained . Location is perfect for most. Close to Beach on sunrise side of Key and shuttle to Duvall St makes it better than staying in the cramped Old Town area . Can't find anything to complain about .Also a great value.

Summary - Not worth the points redemption. My pregnant wife and I redeemed 3 nights from my Hilton honors account, totaling approx. 60K a night to stay here. The hotel grounds are nice, however as a Hilton honors Gold member and for 60K a night, I expected a much better room and service. We drove 5 hours to key west and were exhausted. We spent 3 sleepless nights since our room was right next to the elevator and subject to loud drunks walking the hallways, as well as the bed's headboard being on the same wall as the Storage Room. the storage room was where housekeeping stocked up all their carts and new towels and sheets, so we got awaken every morning (not being able to sleep at night either) around 7am with loud bangs, chatter, as if we slept on a construction site . As someone redeeming such a large amount of points I expected a quieter, better room, they could have easily put us at the end of the hallway away from the storage room or elevator. I raised this issue to the front desk and the employee looked at me and nodded their head saying sorry with no attempt to make this right. remember, 60K a night can get you a great room at the Hilton Bentley in South Beach for the sake of comparison...a luxury hotel. for someone who will come back to Key West, next time im spending all these points at the Waldorf Casa Marina hotels down there. should have done that from the beginning. this was a total waste of points and comfort, HH members should be treated way better than this considering the thousands of $$ spent at Hilton hotels. - B.C. I stayed mid-May 2018 and had a pleasant trip. They offer a free shuttle to and from the airport (just call the hotel when you arrive or tell the front desk 10 minutes before you want to leave); the day I arrived it was not running, for whatever reason, but the hotel offered to pay for my cab. The airport is only about a mile away so I could have just as easily walked. With the proximity, you are in the flight path and get some noise, but there are no commercial flights at night and I didn't notice while in my room. There are NO ocean views as some sites suggest. It is on the opposite side of the island from the action, however, there is a free (very punctual) shuttle that runs on the hour from 8AM-11PM and drops you near Duval. They offer free bottled water and cookies, but you have to ask the front desk. There is a little convenience store in the lobby that offers Gatorade, ice cream, candy, and medicines. If you are looking a little bigger selection (or wine/beer), Seaside Grocery and Deli is a stones throw away; it's cheaper than paying for all your drinks at the bar, obviously. There is a restaurant in the hotel and a bar by the pool with more casual food (the bartender wasn't great though). The restaurant offers a decent breakfast buffet with pancakes, sausage, cereal, biscuits, fruit, pastries, etc. for $13 (and they'll box up your leftovers). The pool was warm and I didn't have to fight for a chair/lounge. It had a wade-in section for little ones and goes to about 5' or so. They were always stocked on beach towels and have cabanas which were first come-first serve. There is a hot tub. The room has central air/heat, safe, fridge, coffee maker, and basic cable. The cons were really inconsequential things like the TV list was wrong, the bathroom fan did not work, the shower door opened on the faucet side so water got all over the floor, the light switches and lights were in stupid spots, and there was a gap between the floor and the door to the hallway so light would come in you get a bit of hallway noise, (though, overall pretty quiet); also, is this not against fire code? This hotel is very easy to get to just after you get onto the island. It appears to be a very old hotel but it has been well maintained and the grounds are landscaped so beautifully. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The bed and pillows gave me the best sleep that I have had in weeks. The room is well stocked with necessary items. The in room coffee maker brews great tasting coffee and tea.The only negative thing about the room is the bathroom vanity. The vanity is tiny. They have a shuttle that runs every hour that will take you downtown. We found this to be very useful considering parking downtown is extremely limited. They have a huge and beautiful pool area. A large deck overlooking the pool that has a great tiki bar that makes tasty cocktails. Don't miss the breakfast buffet. It's so delicious. Collapse

Nice, clean hotel located about a 15 min drive from the 'downtown' core. Stayed 3 nights on a scuba diving trip. The hotel runs a shuttle downtown once an hour (that is usually full so arrive early). We also rented a car and used it, except for the nightlife. Pool is nice, although the service around it is horrible. I wouldn't recommend eating at the hotel and plan on bringing your own drinks. Otherwise, a solid 4-star. If you want to be within walking distance of Key West nightlife, this is not the right place. Collapse
