I wasn’t sure what to expect from this hotel as it was so cheap compared to others I looked at but it was lovely. I had one night here as I was passing through Milan to go to lake Como and it was perfectly located for this! The staff were very helpful and friendly and my room was great - very large compared to most hotel rooms and was perfectly clean. The mattress is on the firm side, but I found it to be really comfortable and I slept like a baby. The breakfast was by far my favourite part! It was the BEST hotel breakfast I have ever had. Pleasantly surprising! There was an array of beautiful fresh home made cakes and pastries, home made jams (the kiwi one was delicious and the pistachio cream was like heaven). There was fresh honeycomb, a variety of breads, meats, cheeses, olives, fruits, cereals, muesli, yoghurt, eggs, flavoured water, juices, coffee made to order and plenty more. This was my first day in Italy and if this is a sample of what to expect from Italian food then I am very excited!! Check out and check in was quick and easy and I was even able to get some food for dinner when I arrived at nearly 11pm. This hotel isn’t in the most scenic or central part of Milan but it is well and truly worth it and was easy to get to. Also, a tip - when I was planning my route on public transport to come and go from here, google maps was directing me to a train station called Varesino Carbonate which is about a 25 minute walk from the hotel (nearly 2km). I’m not sure why this is because the Mozzate station is much closer (less than 10minute walk, 700m) and has plenty of trains running through there to go back into Milan City centre or out to other areas of Italy. I recommend using this station if you stay here and want to save some time. Collapse

We are currently sitting in reception waiting to leave.. all I can say about this hotel is it’s a low 3 star, food is average but not great it’s a set menu and despite asking they will not make anything else apart from what is on the menu and may I add it’s the smallest menu ever! They offer 24 hour food which is a small lasagna in a glass jar and some pasta dish again charging 8 euro not worth it. They have no restaurants or bars near by so you have to travel by train to legit eat or do anything, train station is only 10 minutes away by foot. The bedroom is standard but the pillows are flat and its very uncomfortable, you have pay to use any kind of facilities ie your not aloud to use the swimming pool but they charge 12 euro to use there steam room ect, they have a bar but no one is ever at it nor can you pay there you have to constantly go over to reception to pay. Overall not worth coming back too. Collapse

We spent 2 nights at the hotel, whilst the staff were very friendly and helpful, food was acceptable I would not rate it as a 4 star, low 3 star. Very tired and bed/pillows uncomfortable and TV did not work. Bar in TV set on one channel covering the Grand Prix even after it had finished. It is essentially on the edge of an industrial estate and is a 10 minute walk to the local station of Mozatte, then 15 minute train to Saornno then half hour + tpo Lake Como, if the timings don't work it can take up to 2 hours. Okay if you have a car but not close enough otherwise. Collapse

It has the feel of a roadside hotel but with a little luxury. Karin at breakfast was very attentive and the spread was extensive. Dinner service on the other hand was slow and lacking. Although the food was excellent but the service was awfull as we waited a substantial amount of time to be served and had to remind the waitress of outlet drink order which arrived partly after our dinner. Reception were very helpful and the bath tub jacuzzi was excellent although a little worn and tired round the edges. Overall a great First night in Italy. Collapse
