Only downside on arriving in Marlow was having to drive through an industrial estate - thought we'd made a wrong turning. Collapse

Very impressive hotel, inside and appearance on the outside. I was greeted by polite and friendly staff at the welcome desk. The hotel room was nice and was very clean. Only thing I can fault is the spa, there wasn't enough seats around the pool, therefore I couldn't sit down. It also looks a bit like a leisure centre, not a relaxing spa. Collapse

One of the key reasons for our taking a weekend break was the pool and gym. The pool stank of over-chlorination (we all know what that means...) and the gym may be well-equipped, but most pieces have never been maintained (ie the rower's chains are rusty and the monitors are knackered). Stuck out in an industrial estate, extremely noisy during the weekend from revellers (don't stay on the ground floor or overlooking the fountain). Staff nice and accommodating though. Collapse

My fiance and I went here for a Spa Day as a birthday treat! It was a really relaxing day and just what we needed. We went on a Monday and so it was quite quiet. The facilities are good - all you need for a spa day and there is even an outdoor hot tub which would be lovely on a sunny day! We had a spa day package with afternoon tea which included a 25 minute back and shoulder massage. We were provided with robes and a towel but no flip flops. Luckily I had rung in advance to ask them if we needed to bring our own so I already knew this. There are plenty of beds to lounge on around the pool and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The massage we received was great and so relaxing! The only negative is that there was no tea or coffee provided and so we had to pay for this - it wasn't cheap either!! I think it would good for these to be included in the spa package and also I would have liked there to have been a water fountain near the pool. The afternoon tea which we had after the spa was so good - the best I've had!! There was such a wide range of fresh sandwiches and the cakes and scones were delicious. We sat in the conservatory with a lovely view looking out onto the grounds. Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing day - thank you to the staff for looking after us so well! Collapse
