Hotel location great for exploring the city. Easy access to motorways. Hotel décor very contemporary, nice lobby and reception staff very helpful. Our room was on the 11th floor with exceptional views of the Armadillo, SSEC and the city. Room was clean and had everything you would require including tea/coffee and iron and ironing board. Breakfast was excellent with great choice of hot, cold, cereals, pastries etc. The leisure facilities were also great and the pool although needing a bit of TLC around the edges was great for relaxing and the warmest I have encountered in the UK. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommended. Collapse

Hotel was easy to find with plenty parking available. A bit of a walk into city centre - taxi much better and cost just over £5. Hotel was clean with modernised rooms. Breakfast was really busy on Sat morning - a bit of queuing needed! If I was attending another concert at secc this is where i'd stay. Easy access through the hotel and no hassle with car parking. Loved the shopping experience and St Enoch centre much nicer after having a facelift. Revisited the Thai Orchid on Argyle St. - lovely meal, nice surroundings. A bit on the dear side but didn't begrudge it! Kelvingrove was stunning - great afternoon spent there and a lovely cafe with great service. Hotel also in a good location for science centre - right across the footbridge from the car park. Collapse

Stayed here multiple times and have to say it’s by far my fave hotel in Glasgow. All the staff are great, some say they are frosty, FGS, it’s Scotland, they’re probably feeling cold but their welcome is piping hot!! They always welcome me as though I was their yesterday and they cannot do enough for you, even though it may be weeks between my last stay. Ok, some may say it’s a tad pricey, but you get the spa, pool and gym and an amazing selection of whisky, plus the breakfast, it’s fab. Really handy for the science and transport museums. If you ever have a problem during your stay, tell them, they will sport it one way or another for you. You can enjoy a 2 mile stroll along the river into town. Best way to get there and a cab back! Cannot recommend this hotel highly enough, oh s**t, I’ve just let the cat out of the bag!!! Collapse

This is about the fifth time I have stayed here and I have no hesitation in going back. Rooms are clean and comfortable and functional. Beds encourage sleep! Excellent bar and restaurant. The breakfast is amazing. Plenty of space in public areas to relax or work. Even used the gym and pool this time which is small and basic but is ok if you are there for work but if there for leisure and that was an important aspect you make be disappointed. Nevertheless end on a positive. Very helpful and friendly staff at all the public touch points Collapse

Stayed for just one night during a visit to BBC for a tv programme. wish we could have stayed longer. Easy to park, covered walkway from car park to hotel. We were greeted warmly by reception staff, check-in was quick and efficient. The hotel was spotless and our room was very clean and fresh, good view from the window. Our reason for visit was to attend a recording at the BBC which was just a few minutes walk over the river by footbridge nearby. Breakfast next morning was excellent, although the hotel was very busy, staff were very quick to show us to out table. The choice of food on offer was amazing with something to suit every taste, must be one of the best breakfasts we have ever had in a hotel. We would stay here again without hesitation Collapse

I recently stayed at the crowne plaza in Glasgow . I had the most fantastic time and customer experience . My partner and I decided to have a night away to celebrate my birthday to which she had informed the hotel of this and upon arrival we were welcomed instantly ,checked in and informed of all the facilities available during our stay . Once we got to our room there was complimentary wine and chocolates and lovely welcome card wishing me a happy birthday . We had access to the club lounge which was great although very limited selection of beers for myself however vast range of wine and soft drinks. Staff member Kevin in the club lounge was a fantastic host and nothing was to much trouble for him he wasn’t very knowledgeable and we had a great chat about both our favourite football team. Another staff member I would particularly like to mention is one of the bar staff Gary smith I have never experienced better customer service I have been to many hotels and high class restaurants in my time through working . Gary went above and beyond to make sure our time was just perfect and he done exactly that it was perfect he went out his way to make sure it was that for us and to that I thank Gary very much so . the best customer experience I have ever had 10/10 I will definitely return and will recommend to colleagues ,friends and family . Hotel was spotless clean , wee were checked in by Joseph he was nice enough, although the few female reception staff I felt were a bit frosty and unapproachable, looking at me like I just stole the sugar out there tea, not a nice feeling, the room was clean, bed really comfortable 10/10 for comfort, the toilet didn't flush toilet paper away I had to put any toilet paper wee used in the bathroom bin! Room 1005 ,,, hotel right next to the Venue wee attended ,the bar was good quick at serving and plenty of seating. If the reception staff had been welcoming and friendly and the toilet flushed the toilet paper away it would of been the full 5 rating, I would use the hotel again and I would recommend this hotel.
