Hotel persone are very related. The hotel offers a good breakfast. Tooms are clean and have enough space for working. Only 6 rooms smoking so during reservation you should ask for it. Although they have a fridge in the room it is empty. You may order over room service but this time they are charging a room service extra. Complimentary water, coffee, herbal and black tea is in the room. The tap water is not drinkable at least becauae of taste. Iron and iron table is in the room. Bar is tidy and have a good service till 11 pm, then it is closed. In the bar there are spaces for smokers and non smokers. Collapse

We were warmly welcomed for our 6 night stay at the Crowne Plaza Belgrade. Dushan on the front desk is a credit to the hotel and as an IHG member celebrating our 24th anniversary we enjoyed a warm and very personalised welcome - outstanding for a large hotel. Dushan’s English was impeccable and he is a credit to the brand and worth extra investment with a great deal of management potential. The suite was lovely and gave us extra room to spread out - and the welcome amenity wine & chocs were beautifully presented. We LOVED using the smoke free club lounge and even with the suite, spent a lot of time in it’s classy and comfortable chairs - reading and relaxing. Gordana is a phenomenal IHG ambassador and really made us welcome in the lounge at night. She farewelled us fondly on our last evening and we actually miss her! In the mornings Kristina & Branka were superb and the breakfast spread was more than adequate - the poached eggs were perfect every day (they do eggs to order). Evening snacks and drinks were fabulous - huge range of food and we enjoyed the drinks selection. The pool area was likewise fabulous - light and full of air - it’s the most we have ever, ever used a hotel pool - usually too stuffy and over chlorinated - this was perfect - especially when it was snowing - so spent around 2 hours a day reading/swimming/lazing on loungers. In terms of hard product, the hotel was fully renovated and refurbished in the last few years and the suite was great. This used to be an Intercontinental and it still feels like a 5 star hotel as the ‘bones’ are superb - large, airy, great pool, club lounge etc. The service certainly assists and it definitely didn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. No signs of wear and tear and bathroom was in excellent condition with tub and also a walk in shower with regular and rain style shower options. On the downside - and it’s by no means just this hotel, it was overheated and the individual aircon control in the room did little to solve the problem - It went to 21 degrees at the lowest and made noise but little difference to the temperature - but the suite had opening windows which was a blessing. On the downside, the king bed was hard and the mattress needs to be renewed - though this could be cultural as hard beds are not uncommon in Eastern Europe - just a shame as generally there is a ‘standard’ of bed across brands - think ‘sweet sleeper’, ‘heavenly bed’ etc. Not the case here as it felt nothing like the beds in our previous Crowne Plaza stays. It looked like an older mattress - no pillow top etc. It had two thin padded mattress things on it - but was still hard. Adding a foam topper wouldn’t help - adds too much heat. We know bed comfort is personal - firm bed lovers would have been satisfied. Smoking - We avoided most of the hotel’s second hand cigarette smoke by spending all our time in either our suite (pretty sure the whole floor was non-smoking), the non-smoking club lounge or at the pool - Using the restaurants/lobby lounge etc was out of the question as the non-smoking tables next to smoking tables just doesn’t work. We know it’s the Balkans and everyone smokes... but indoor smoke is very confronting to non-smokers from other parts of the world. We felt like we were in a time warp and had gone back 20 years. Overall is was an excellent experience. Collapse

Smart & Modern hotel, Room ok, but only issue had was that my colleague had Fish for dinner one night and had to return as was undercooked. Just a little upsetting that the dinner event ruined our trip
