I will start with the Good Rates: for a weekend the rates were unbeatable Location: Walking distance to almost everything Room: Clean and simple, plenty of fresh towel that are counted "daily" Staff: 1 person Nice on arrival Heating Unit: Super loud which blocks out most of the other room noise The Bad Entrance: Very slippery and no attempts to clean up water and ice- just a mandatory caution sign- no salt or sand outside the entrance at any point in 3 days. Staff: Making comments about the quests- no one cleaned up the "danger zone at entrance and they are not very friendly when you are checking out. Parking: expensive. We requested parking for Friday night.. we received a pass and were told to place it in vehicle. No problem. When we returned Saturday night there was no parking (at all) people had made up their own parking (including at front entrance in both directions) we parked off site and walked (despite handicap pass). When we checked out we were advised we would be charged 2 nights parking we explained there was no parking Saturday... the umm lovely front desk lady said well you didn't bring your paper pass back.... I explained we still had the pass but was not advised to return it, I was also told that we needed to return it and we should have waited at midnight for them to "find parking for us off site"... Room: if you don't need a great nights sleep ( or maybe travel in the week or cam party) this might be the place for you. Walls are paper thin so people beside you, above you or below you can be heard in great detail.. including people walking down the halls. Shower: it was put best as "taking a shower with a water gun" THE WORST the breakfast buffet across the street was recommend in room. We went and I have to say that it should not be recommended nor should it be in business or allowed to charge .....we paid $40.00 for the worst food I have ever tasted in my entire life... and we are not picky having traveled widely and managed on a 3rd world menu. The Restaurant is soo bad I cannot even find it on Trip advisor to review.. Several people walked in and walked out... ( we should have done the same). Collapse

I stayed here in the tourist offseason (Feb 2018), and got an amazing rate of $50 for a night. I'm not sure what this hotel goes for in peak season, but for $50, it's a no brainer. The hotel itself is an average hotel, but it's clean and comfortable, and that's all I care about. It's location is perfect - 5 minute walk to the casino and falls, and lots of restaurants around to dine at. I didn't have time to grab breakfast, but a free breakfast just adds to the value of this place. TO ADDRESS SOME OF THE CONCERNS MENTIONED IN REVIEWS HERE: Yes, it is an aging and tired hotel, but again, as long as it is clean, who cares if all you really need is a bed. The heater is noisy, but I turned it off before going to sleep, and the room still stayed warm all night, and it was -15C outside. Parking is expensive at $18, but I just parked at the Fallsview Casino a 5min walk away - the offseason rate there for parking is $5, or free if you spend some money at the Casino. If you're looking for a 'resort' experience, book one of the other big hotels in the area. If all you really need is a place to lay your head in the middle of the Fallsview district, this is the place for you! No complaints at this price point. Collapse

Themostat seemed to be broken, as we had to get up to switch it off from the main wall outlet during night, as room overheated or froze. Bathtub and commode with door is too small. Remove the door or make ir bigger. Coffee maker not clean so when i made hot water for tea, it dripped out coffee flavored water. We were lucky to be able to view a part of the falls. All you can eat breakfast buffet coupon they offer should mention that beverages is extra charge. Vinnies discount is 5%....might as well not bother with a discount when tip is at 15%... hotel reeked of chlorine. Hot tub was awesome, but a bit too hot...should be a degree or 2 less Collapse

The room was spacious, clean and fully operational. I appreciated that the air vent controls for the jetted tub were NOT shut tight as I had found in many other hotels. The price of the hotel was reasonable; however, when comparing prices insure that you include the costs for the parking and refrigerator as they are extra at this hotel, but may be included in the price of other hotels. Courtney had excelled in customer service by the manner she addressed my special requests. I found Harvey and Morgan to be accommodating when I requested if I could register and park my car while visiting the sights in the area before my room was available – e.g. Niagara Falls. This hotel includes a complimentary hot breakfast buffet which I appreciated for its assortment and convenience. I highly recommend attending the complimentary breakfast as early as possible as I had noticed a long line of people waiting to enter the breakfast room near breakfast closing time. The hotel is conveniently located in the Fallsview area. It may be beneficial reviewing the hotel's customer club as it may provide more options that may enhance your trip. Overall I found my stay to be comfortable with no problems - which I welcome. Collapse
