Comfortable stay in London

The Hotel was very comfortable and the staff welcoming, friendly and really helpful at all times throughout the stay. Shortly after arrival, I realised that I had lost the key to the lock on my travel bag. That problem was sorted out quickly and very helpfully. It was a pleasant surprise to find the room - a single room - had a queen size bed, which was really comfortable. This did make other space in the room a little more limited, but everything was provided in a well arranged and well thought out layout, and was spotlessly clean. Would definitely recommend this Hotel both for the location but also even more so for being a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. Collapse

We spent five days in London: a couple, their daughter and one mother-in-law. We stayed at the Caesar Hotel, Hyde Park, which is nicely refurbished with air conditioning (much appreciated in the warm weather). The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The continental breakfast was lovely: fresh food with plenty of variety. The rooms were on the small side but adequate given that we were only in them to sleep; they were kept clean and fresh. The Caesar Hotel is a five minute walk from Kensington Gardens (leading to Hyde Park). The nearest underground stations are on the Central line, which we found not the most convenient for the sights or theatres we wanted to visit. Two of our party had mobility problems, so changing lines was not easy for us. However, we found that all the main bus tours stopped close to the hotel and we caught a service bus straight to the London Eye. A map of the service bus routes across London, which we had picked up on a previous trip, was again a very valuable aid for planning journeys. Collapse

Brought my mother to London for her birthday and stayed here. They arranged for two twin beds and made our stay marvelous. What a great team! Had dinner nearby, went to Hyde Park and down to South Kensington.

The staff at The Caesar are really friendly and attentive. The room was clean and tidy. We liked looking at the trees in the park opposite the hotel. The breakfast selection was excellent - lots of cold options and the cooked breakfasts were freshly cooked and really tasty. The hotel is in a quiet location and an easy to walk to Queensway or Bayswater tube. Kensington Gardens were also in easy reach. Overall, we found this hotel a real find and we preferred it to other hotels we have stayed in within easy reach of theatreland. Collapse

Our second visit to the Caesar hotel. We were upgraded (again) to an executive room, which was huge. The only downside was it was at street level and on the busier road (although not busy for London). This didn’t really detract from the hotel as we had taken earplugs so no noise issues and it wasn’t very noisy anyway, just the odd passing traffic and people. Once again the staff from reception to cleaners to waiting staff were all lovely and very welcoming. This is where the hotel really excels. Our room was ready so we were allowed to check in early and they stored our luggage after we checked out. The breakfasts are all excellent – buffet style with fresh fruits, yoghurts and full continental or fried breakfasts cooked to order. All made with quality ingredients. The location of the hotel is excellent – in a quiet square easy walking distance from Paddington and close to both the Central and Circle and District lines. Collapse
