from the moment we arrived on the Friday evening I was happy, the welcome was warm and informative. Our room (18) was a beautiful suite with the comfy big bed and gorgeous linen. we stayed for 2 nights and dinner was exceptional both nights. Breakfast was a vast selection and was just as good when served in the room as in the restaurant. The spa is clean and basic. Elemis treatments were good. You couldn't fault the staff throughout the hotel, all very kind and helpful, a wonderful break Collapse

This is probably one of the smaller hotels in the Handpicked hotel range, but it still fits with their standards. Nice quality feel to everything with nice design to the rooms and general areas. I would say the beds could be bigger, the standard rooms are just a double bed - in a "luxury" hotel of this nature i'd expect all rooms to have bigger, it was comfy though so can't fault that. Still and sparkling water provided in the room free of charge is a nice touch not always found. Staying mid-week in January meant the hotel was pretty quiet so there wasn't any atmosphere to speak of in the bar area so kind of felt awkward trying to have a conversation, the bar was on the more expensive side too at £12+ for 1 beer and 1 G&T. The bar area serves food but the menu was fairly limited, considering the time we were staying I didn't think it'd be necessary to book a table at the restaurant however when we got there we were advised they had no tables - given how empty the hotel seemed this was a surprise. Luckily the manager of the restaurant found us somewhere after another booking didn't show, so we were able to enjoy a nice meal - a little pricey mind but the food was excellent. The service from all the wait staff during dinner was great, chatty but not intrusive. It is a shame I can't say the same for breakfast, we were seated promptly however were then left, nobody came to take a hot drink order, we had to ask for the menu, then were left again with nobody taking our order - I had to grab someone from the front of the restaurant or it would have closed before anyone would have noticed. The food again was nice but it was a shame about the service. The hotel is a convenient location for Brands Hatch circuit and also for Bluewater shopping centre, better than staying in a premier inn which at the time we stayed wasn't that much different in price for the room. Our daughter and her husband were married at the Brandshatch Place Hotel on 20th January 2018. We would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wedding venue The hotel staff were highly professional and no detail appeared to be too small to warrant their attention. We stayed from Friday until Sunday and the food and accommodation throughout the weekend were excellent and we felt relaxed as all the staff were cheerful and willing to help with any requests we might have. It was truly a happy and memorable family occasion. Collapse

We were upgraded to a Junior Suite on arrival. Room clean and lovely. Enormous super-king bed with thick, warm duvet. We had opted for afternoon tea and not disappointed. Fresh sandwiches, warm scones with jam and cream and the most wonderful tiny cakes. Evening meal was beautifully cooked and perfectly presented by friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast in bed was a bonus. Every member of staff we came into contact with was helpful and friendly whilst remaining professional. Nothing was too much trouble. One reception member even remembered us from a previous visit last year. I was surprised, given the number of faces that must have gone past her over time. Thoroughly recommend this hotel and it's restaurant. Collapse

We stayed 1 night at this hotel and I was taken ill in the morning. My husband had to leave for a meeting and I stayed in bed, sleeping. Reception telephoned me and I apologised for not vacating the room explaining that I had been ill all morning and that I really would appreciate it if I could stay in the room until my husband returned at 2.00pm. There was never a question of me having to leave the room, they just told me to stay there and sleep, was there anything I wanted, nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was most kind and I'm very grateful. We will most certainly stay there again and thank you very much. Collapse
