stayed here with national holidays June 2019 and the staff are nice enough however the hotel room carpet was dirty with lots of stains especially around the bed one pillow had a brown mark on the pillow case the worn out mattress provided a night to remember all of its own with numerous springs doing their best to keep you awake most of the night the pillows are super soft and totally useless and the bath mat had some risky hairs left by a previous occupant we had evening meal that consisted of a small amount of leek soup with a bread roll so hard even the knife was unable to cut through it main meal was budgie leg, sorry chicken leg, cold sliced and dried up carrots, with roast? potatoes that had started to turn a very risky shade of black afters cream cakes but not sure how fresh they were as the cream was going hard the food is ideal if your looking to loose some weight whilst your away as you certainly dont get a lot stay here at your peril Collapse

Stayed at the Bradford Hotel as did the Leeds York shopper weekend with National Holidays. I must say on arrival it looked like it was very central and easily accessible to pubs, shops etc. It did look a bit tired and the welcome wasn’t over friendly but just wanted to get in and sorted. The overall hotel did look very tired and there was signs up saying they were refurbishing some rooms so crossed our fingers that ours was one already but no it wasn’t. The room was ok but needed a good scrub and the bath had seen better days but I must admit the shower was brilliant. The beds were pretty comfy too with clean sheets. Popped into town for a few bits and perfectly situated as a small shopping centre basically across the road. The food for tea was a letdown though. It was soup to start which was pretty good then the main was gammon with roast potatoes (looked frozen), Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower, broccoli and peas with runny gravy or fish cakes, ravioli and various salad options. Dessert was a choice of 5 things including trifle which was pretty good but the apple pie was sooooo not good. Don’t think the pastry was cooked and the apple was a bit hard. Not very cinnamons at all. Definitely not a hit with us as really dry even with cream on. Quite a few local pubs including our favourite the Ginger Goose as cheap drinks and a do was on playing some great tunes but not up to date which is fab. Breakfast was slightly better than tea but still not fab Please speak to the waiters as kept coming over to check if we had finished even if we still had food on our plate and were just talking. Did it loads of times and it’s not very good at all. Leave us alone til the cutlery goes down properly and by all members of the table. Won’t be in a rush to go back Collapse

Had no choice but to book this hotel due to a work meeting the following morning. I knew when I walked in that things would be dated but nothing prepared me for what was in store Check in was quick but two tiny lifts for the hotel and one was out of order. Got to my room on the first floor and discovered a room that was dated, grimy, carpets and furnishings that had seen better days back in 1999 nevermind 2019. The king size bed was two singles pushed together although it was comfortable. There was one accessible plug socket behind the TV in the entire room. The worst of all was the bathroom. There was dirt, a pool of dirty water around the socket and grime in the bath so deep that you couldn’t remove it. I washed at the sink and couldn’t have even stood in it. It was late and I was tired so couldn’t even bring myself to complain and change rooms - I can’t envisage any room would be better in the entire hotel. I didn’t take the breakfast included. If the guest rooms are that bad, one can only imagine the state of the kitchens Avoid Avoid Avoid Collapse

Nice comfy bed with good quality tea tray. Good choice of menu for evening meal and breakfast options. We had to get assistance with opening the bedroom door and assisted others when they arrived. This hotel is located in the city centre and 5 minutes walk from Bradford Exchange Train Station. We had a good deal for our stay that price matched one available online. The check-in and check-out were done fast. Overall the room that we stayed at was good and over looking the City Hall. The view was stunning in the night with City Hall view. There is no noise from outside even though it is located on the busy road. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had free a glass of wine each during our stay. Morning breakfast was included and we enjoyed the food. The food selection is limited, however, so don't expect a feast. I recommend The Bradford Hotel, if you are in the city because of the location and the price. Overall, we are satisfied with the services and the condition of the room. Collapse
