My family stayed for one night in two rooms at the Boston Marriott Copley Place to attend a fund raising event which was held at the hotel. A number of family members who live locally joined us for the event, and my son and his 6 year old daughter came up from NYC also --so we had quite a group. I contacted the hotel in advance to make a few requests, including to ensure we had adjoining rooms and that we had sufficient space for us all to gather before the event. The hotel was EXCELLENT in providing all that we asked for, and really went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. I would highly recommend the Marriott Copley Place! Collapse

Recently stayed at this hotel. Booked the hotel for the location and name. Very expensive but very poorly maintained hotel. The mattress was very poor quality and could not sleep well. The bathrooms are very small without any exhaust, felt humid all the time. Do not provide simple things like a shower cap in the bathroom. The hotel is so much overpriced just due to location and Marriott name. Collapse

I've been to many Marriotts before and have been pleased, but this one is a waste of money. My husband, 1 year old and I booked this hotels months in advance for a medical conference. Our one request was a crib for the baby. 2 days before we are set to arrive, I call to make sure we will have the crib on arrival and find that they lost the reservation. I have to make arrangements through them again. Upon arrival, we are given a tiny room with substandard bathrooms and little walking space. The bathroom is so small, they have a sliding door instead of a normal door because there is no space for the door to swing open. Feels like a cruise ship really. The crib they provide is tiny and unsafe. Looks like it is a pack and play. Would only fit a child under 1 year old. The mattress is super soft and you sink into it- completely unsafe for a child and a true suffocation hazard. When I brought it to the attention of the staff that my 1 year old child doesnt fit in the crib, they simply shrugged their shoulders and told me that's all they have. I finally came up with the solution to give up my king bed for a 2 fulls and give one bed to my baby. Had to block off sides with pillows clearly not the best solution. It I did what I could. When. I asked for any help or accommodations to make this happen, staff again shrugged their shoulders. I'm truly disappointed in this place. I wouldn't recommend it. The service is dismal. Collapse

I had a wonderful experience during my stay at the Boston Marriott Copley Place for a full week when I was on a business trip in September. I did not take the time to write a review at the time. I returned in January when I needed a place to stay while attending an engagement party. Once again, I had a wonderful experience but did not write a review. I am going to Boston for a wedding in October and knew I would not be disappointed if I stayed at the Boston Marriott Copley Place because I loved everything about it. I decided it was time for me to write my review. From the moment I arrived in September and in January, I was tended to with great care by the staff in guest relations. In particular, Mike Dasilva made every effort to have a room available and went to great lengths to ensure that it would be comfortable for my week’s stay. He followed up with me personally! This is unusual for such a large hotel. Kudos to you, Mike! The hotel has every amenity including a beautiful lap pool and state-of-the-art fully equipped fitness center. The concierge staff is exceptional—and responded to every question I had, pointing me in the right direction whenever I headed out. The bar area is a lively, welcoming place to socialize —it has high energy as well as exceptional spirits. And did I mention location? The hotel is connected to two shopping areas —one high end and the other “medium to high-end.” Both are well-lit with great people-watching traffic; shoppers can feel safe and comfortable. The connecting covered walkways to these shopping areas are such a welcome relief during rain or snow. The hotel restaurants offer good service and food—the decor is lovely and hotel is pristine. A special thank you again to Mike Dasilva and also to the front desk manager, Dan Anastos, was so professional as well as responsive —he is responsible for having such a well-organized, efficient, and welcoming staff. I look forward to returning to the Boston Marriott Copley Place on October 4! Collapse
